Heather

*HUG* PF and Chel!!!

I'm really trying not to have a bad attitude about my family situation, but boy are they making it hard. My mom and I have been in contact off and on the last couple weeks. Mostly through text and random phone calls. I haven't spoken to my dad or my sister since Thanksgiving. But I learned that my parents are now going to pay for my sister to have plastic surgery. Seriously? You refuse to feed me when I live in your house, assist me move, or even let me borrow money when my car breaks down but you are going to pay for major surgery?!?!?! I understand it's "medically needed" but come on! [My sister is incredibly 'well endowed' which causes some slight asthma issues and something to do with her horrible posture - which is mostly her being lazy and not standing/sitting straight. So she is going in for a reduction] But they pay for her cell phone, her insurance, her school, most of her groceries. I was her age and pretty told 'good luck' with anything. Just UGH!!!!

I'm with Chelle, turnips aren't my thing.

You should really be fond of them.  They're they same color as you.

Seth, it's not the color that's the problem.  My Mema used to cook them sometimes, but I wasn't impressed with the taste.

SippinTea

Okay, Heather, that's plain ridiculous. Where do I find their address to send them a letter and tell them what I think? :smirk2:

And if anyone is counting votes... turnips are NASTY!! :yell:

I think I have a concussion. From the lamp hitting me. My headache is still present and I've been so sleepy since it happened.

Going to bed now.

You're not supposed to go to sleep if you have a concussion.  Though it's been too long to worry about that now.  :P

I guess I'm ok. I keep waking up. Concussion or not.

I really enjoyed church this morning. Everyone was very welcoming. I'll be going back again tonight. It's not a big church. Maybe 25-30 people and ALOT of kids. But I really liked it.

I think I'm having a reaction to one of my meds. My legs and scalp are itching like crazy.

Now to eat and hopefully take a nap. I haven't been sleeping really well and I'm pooped.

Favorite thing from church tonight.

I've also now dug my scalp almost raw it's been itching so bad and my legs and arms are getting there.

Heather, you're having an allergic reaction to something! Better call the doctor, it might be one of your meds! If it's the antibiotic they can switch it. I've had that happen to me before. I say this cause I care. I'm so sorry you have to itch like that. No fun at all. I'll pray for you that it goes away.

Lynx

At least "severe" is itching.  For some medications "severe" is a lot more severe.

So what do you take now?  Or do you just let the infection run its course?
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

Alex can't take bactrin. I think that's how it's spelled, it makes him break out. The dr gave him Zyrtec or something when it happened.. You might could take Benadryl.

Chseeads

What antibiotic was it?

As long as Benadryl doesn't make you feel like you are dying, like it does me.  :smirk2:

Melody

It is FREEZING here. I don't want to turn up the heat.  I think I'll go put on a sweatshirt.

Went to my first Pinterest party.  It was really fun! Everyone was to bring a food from Pinterest and a craft to do.  I'm not crafty so I just hot glued some large bells together for a candle holder. I'm not done with it.  BUT!  To make up for my lack of craftiness, I made these foods:

Apple nachos

Brown sugar wild wings with Roasted red pepper sauce

Blue Velvet Cake

I had such a great time.  Did my heart good.

Also, our missionaries, the Cantrells were home for a few weeks.  I just wanted to hug them and visit with them forever. Sis. Cantrell taught the S.S. hour and Bro.Cantrell preached. *happy sigh*

MelodyB

We had a missionary from Ireland here today. It was great!

And Seth, EVERYTHING makes you feel like you are dying. Breathing cool fresh air makes you feel like you are dying...you hypochondriac!

I don't enjoy the feeling the Benadryl gives me of making my heart feel like it's going to just slowly stop.  If you enjoy such frivolities, more power to you.
