The Purple Fuzzy

I just made squash casserole for supper. Waiting for my hubby to get back so we can eat.

It sure was a good thing Uncle Fred called to mention they had been at church cleaning.  I forgot it was our week.

It's OK Heather, we don't mind you venting.  It's nice to have a safe place to do that.

Yeah. That.

Went to the Christmas parade today. Worked on some sewing projects this afternoon.

I'm so tired.

I have so much on my mind right now, but really don't know how to express myself.

Went to the flea market today with dad. First time he's been since his amputation. He was so happy. Zooming around in his chair. I was ready to leave a long time before he was. It was a beautiful day and he was happy, so I kept my mouth closed and didn't tell him how bad I was hurting. Now I'm paying dearly for that. But I can't tell him. He would feel bad, and after a happy day like today, I can't do that.

I did find something for Melodya at the flea market. I took a pic. I need to upload it to PB.

What's GP coming too? Meller sells, plants and probably smokes weed....the respectable GOVERNMENT employee of the board DRINKS.

Lord almighty

If he's the respectable one, what am I?!?

Well government officials are supposed to be respectable. I didn't say I believed it.

All moved in to my new crib. Completely unpacked including my Christmas tree except my desk area.
I ache from head to toe.

If anyone is interested in this kind of stuff...

I got a cool electric shock sound that we need in the christmas play, when the power goes out because of all the main character's lights and ornaments in the yard.

This was Jo who used to be a Godplace member, correct? One of the original Dingbats? I'll remember her and her family in prayer.

For those that don't know...my friend Jolene who I went to see yesterday, lost the baby last night. She had her in the morning, and because of a birth defect, she didn't live very long. Please say a prayer for the Gould family. Baby Hope was precious.

Ugh. Lord. It's morning.  :pound:
Yay!  It's morning!

The difference between my perspective and yours is I'm sitting behind a bowl of homemade chocolate pudding.  Give it a try, it's a great way to start the day.  :D

By the way, you people down in Texas are very fortunate.  My grandmother is now down there.

This has a downside though - she's not up here in Tennessee where she belongs.   :-\

Going to visit yet another church this morning. It's one my uncle and I had discussed last year and he called last week to say he'd been attending their since October. It's not in full truth but I supposed something is better than nothing.

Chili in the crock pot for later.

Heather

my house smells AH-mazing right now.

It's so quiet with only me and the fur children here. It's weird. [Brandon is at work and Mike is gone to Teresa's] And it smells wonderful because no cigarette smoking!!

Does he smoke when he's there, or is the non-smoke compared to your former abode with your family?

I can't stand a place that has been smoked in period, it leaves that lingering odor forevvvvvverrrrr.

Lynx

But people who smoke can't really tell.  They don't even notice it.

My cousin was a smoker, but she had quit.  Two weeks after she quit she was going to Wal-Mart with Grandma for something, and they passed someone who smelled of cigarette smoke.  She whispered to Grandma, "They stink!"

I didn't say "So did you a while ago" but I was a-thinkin' it.

Heather

Brandon and his dad are both smokers. As we've been cleaning they've realized how stained and nasty the house is due to their smoking. They've both said they were either going to quit and then backed up to say only smoke outside and then they both just kept on puffin away. Thankfully I imposed a no smoking in the bedroom or bathroom rule.

Anyones churchs livestream or post services online?

We only have a sound board and laptop - we don't even have the projection screen for song lyrics and bible verses.  I don't know if we'll ever get up to live streaming.

But if ever a service was worth watching live, it was this morning's.  Mmmm!
