Yes. Sometimes almost all the time. :)

:beret:
Or knowing what to do, and still having issues with how to do it, or doing it itself. Sigh.
Especially when you can't explain why it's the right thing to do and it disappoints someone.
Prezactly. All that. *Hugs* Jenn and Sandra for getting it. :)

:beret:

Couldn't have said it better myself.  Thank goodness for grace and those that have it.

I'm tired. Worried. Irritable. Frustrated. Aggravated. Hungry. Lonely. And don't feel good.

Basically, I'm Seth in a skirt.

Blah.

Guess I'll go make some cornbread to go with these greens that mom cooked that messed up my dinner menu plans. :smirk2:

But. That's life.

I need a vacation.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

She cooked? :o

Yeah, that. :o

Amazing. Miracles still happen, folks. Mel said so! :)

Oh, and BOL! @ "Seth in a skirt". ;) Sorry you're having a crummy time right now, Mel. *Many hugs* to you.

In other news...

For the sake of Sir John being able to quote without misquoting...

I'm hot.

;)

If putting a bag of frozen greens in a crock pot qualifies as cooking. Lol!

Yeah, she did that.

:P @ Ruby.

SippinTea

*groan* No, it does not. Never mind. No miracles were made in the making of Mel's post. ;)

I figured you all thought I died.

I have been so busy.

MelodyB

Amen @ Ruby!

Seth...I would have informed them of your death.

Hooray!  We're going to the Prime Timer's Campmeeting May 17th-19th.

It may seem odd to my peers, but I like old-time gospel, bluegrass gospel, etc.  I also like to sit and listen to elders talk, as long as they are christian - christians (real ones) gossip a lot less, and elders have a lot that's worth listening to.

So far I haven't convinced anyone except Grandma to go with me.

Well that's what I can do with my vacation days.  Now the only problem is what to do with all this sourdough bread.  Anyone want a loaf?

I think I'm gonna try to sleep now. Wish me luck.

Busy day working, looking forward to an interview tomorrow at a dental office, that will give me two jobs to choose between.
So much going on my head feels like it's spinning lately.

So funny story....was trying to kill a miller (moth...Mom & Dad call them millers....no clue why...but apparently I caught on) and it flies into my lamp.....well I'm trying to squarsh (yes I say squarsh) it with a flip flop....and the lamp shade like shatttterrrrrs....a piece of the moth was on the light bulb itself, so it's like FRYING....smelling like burnt ew......and the stupid miller is just fluttering away......

The lamp was one of those tall ones...with the plastic lamp shades that face up instead of down....you put a 3-watt light in it.....
Yea so by by lampie.....switched it out with one that was on my vanity....no where near as bright.....my room ambiance is off now.

Hi, everyone! :hi:

Randomness: It's interesting what you learn about people when they're not looking. :)

Summer has officially hit, apparently. It's unpleasantly warm out today. Hoping Chris and my dad can get the A/C put in the living room window soon. Wish I could take heat easier sometimes, but I can't, and there you have it. Thankful my honey takes good care of me. :)

Awww!  Thanks for the hug!  It made my day! :highfive:  Reference your randomness, I dig it.  :-D  I like to watch people, as it teaches me so much about myself and about life in general.

The weather here in my neck of the woods cannot seem to make up its mind.  It goes from skin-melting hot to frozen toes cold within just a few hours.  On the bright side, we're getting some greatly needed rain!  Our water table has declined steadily over the last decade or so.  Every drop of rain is a blessing and storms are just nature's musicals.  I love 'em!

Mel, I'll be praying for your Dad and that you are infused with strength (many people don't realize what it takes to be a caretaker, but I know that sometimes, it's all you can do just to breathe).  My cousin had diabetes and had to have part of his foot removed.  He found it to be somewhat difficult to adjust initially, but nowadays, he plays football with the boys.  :D  By the way, that bit about you being Seth in a skirt made me swallow my gum...lol.  I was rolling!

Isaac, I still have those discs you made for me.  Tons of old music and I jam to it!  I hope you enjoy your vacation!  Send me some bread!  I've known you for ages and I've never tasted that deliciousness you bake!

Jenn...so you are saying that for a brief time tonight, you had a Miller Lite? :o

And thanks Kloey.

We call them millers too.

Maybe Fairy Cake is still my soul mate after all.

You people are too weird.  But funny.

Think I'll have a slice of toast and call it a day.  It has been a long, tiring day, and not such a good one.  Kind of glad today is over.

By the way, what do I do with this white elephant gift I got?  The disposable cups, forks, napkins and etc we will use in time, the bread I can freeze, all the stuff for chili can be used next time I make a pot of chili for a family or church dinner, but what do I do with this gift?

Just hang on to it, Isaac. At some point there will be a random meet that you will be able to use it......

And Mel, The "Miller Lite" comment cracked me up. Good one.

I'm back at work. Bah. At least I have tomorrow off, even though it is not what I planned when I scheduled it.  :cry2:

Don't worry, Cop'r.  We can plot some evil plan to rid our respective jurisdictions of some of our problematic complainants!  I'm is here for you.  Well, I will be once I go to sleep and wake up again.   :hi:
