@work. Don't wanna be. Would rather be asleep in my bed at home or if I MUST be up, I'd prefer to still be in Illinois with my best friend. His family is now asking why we're waiting so long, haha. Love them! I had a great weekend.

Now it's back to life, back to reality.. Got lots of work to be finished at church so we can fulfill statement requests. :/ Pray for us tomorrow night. We're meeting with our superintendent and there will be information put out there that is gonna cause some damage somewhere. We can't just react. We must pray and behave according to what GOD would have us do. I'm sure we'll have bumps and bruises from this, but I pray we heal, and quickly! Gods got revival for us, and we have to press on.

Adjuster ias here. I'm praying for a good settlement on the claim. I'm told he will write me a check today. Took 8 days to get him here, six days after I gave up on the 'preferred shop'.

Walmart has a Great Value brand of flavor packets for your water.  One of them is Pineapple Mango and it's made with Stevia. Tastes pretty good.

Just called the assessor's office because the church always gets 3 assessment forms for parcels of ground owned...and we only own two.  lol

In the past, none of that stuff made sense to me, and I just never paid any attention to it.  But since I've become a big real estate genius due to all these land issues of late, I thought I would inquire to see why in the world this is. lol  They have us down as owning a piece of property cattycorner across the road from what we do own, and we never have had anything to do with that, so they're looking into it and going to let me know.  Not that it really makes any difference one way or the other to us in the grand scheme of things, but I wanted to see what was wrong with it, since I'm a big genius about these things now.

On the homefront, I inquired briefly about the discrepancy between the county's plat maps and what it really should be in regard to here too.....might be something they correct eventually on their end....

As to the remaining issues here, surveyor never called me back after I inquired with his office the last time, so poop on him.  My dad still hasn't paid him, don't know what will ever happen with that.  We'll end up having a lien on the place if he doesn't do it.   

If the surveyor and the lawyer don't wish to communicate with me, then they can just stuff it I guess.  Whether we have a "marketable deed" or not, I don't really care...I know good enough that this is ours and not "theirs," so they need not cook up anymore "selling it to the gov't" schemes or anything, because I'm persuaded there's enough documentation to prove otherwise if need be, so I'ma stay on my side of the creek and do whatever I please over here, and not give a hoot in regards to them. 

Maybe if I play my cards right I can get the county to redraw their plat maps correctly though, since I'm delving into this issue with the church thing and such as well.

So yeah. I cut my finger on a boiled shrimp, and I thought of Ruby. Then I thought of Chel cause she thought of Ruby when she cut her finger on a chicken bone.

The neighbors gave us 30 pounds of boiled shrimp that they had left from some church picnic thing they had yesterday. So dad and I peeled all of them. It was insane.

I think Erica and I are gonna watch Gladiator.

The assessor can't find any answers, so referred me to the auditor's office.

Oh...something Seth can appreciate, Mom and I were in the kitchen, and Dad was at the table, I said that I was going out to the shed to look at the shrimp that were given to us. Then Dad said, "bring them inside so I can look at them too..." and Mom said "Me too, why don't we just all form a line and go look at it?"



And neither one of them have seen that YouTube video.
