"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

This was when we first got in the van.  It went down to 103 after a mile or so.

Turned in an assignment yesterday I was sure I had failed.  I aced it!!!

Had to look at it twice to make sure the grade was right.

I am thankful for a God that can direct me in the right direction when I have no idea of what I am doing!!!!!

Kids put prayer back in school, because it pays to pray over your homework!!!! lol

As long as there are pop quizzes, there will be prayer in school.

Yes...praying for y'all, John.

Had a wonderful day today. Grilled out. Then Erica and I met Ann at the church to pray and then headed to the beach to chill and watch the fireworks with some friends that met us there. It was a pretty good show. Not as big as the ones I'm used to in Florida, but it was good. Came home and had dinner now watching Criminal minds.

Erica is quiet mostly, But LORD...give her some root beer and she turns into an entirely different person. :o Let's just say she was majorly hyper at the fireworks show. Lol

Gonna go to bed soon. And I totally skipped sharing yesterday. I had a really interesting day too...but oh well.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Went camping yesterday/last night.  Just got home from fireworks.

I need lists.  I'm a ditz. It was crazy warm out during the day but at night gets cool enough that the humidity makes it almost feel chilli. So guess who forgets to pack bedding?  So we basically all froze half to death and ended up all cuddled up in one bed, us and the kids.

I fell asleep in a chair while everyone else was fishing.  I was facing the sun and got a bit of color on the front of me.  But never did get the back so my arms and legs look like bacon... LOL

Fireworks definately showed the budget cuts this year.   :smirk2:

Going to go take a nice shower, maybe 2, and go to bed.

And for any young men that may have not learned this lesson yet... If a lady realizes she has a bug down her shirt, the polite thing to do is NOT help but instead turn your back to her and let her get it figured out.  All the grace in the world goes out the window when a bug is going crazy in your under garments.  It's a no wonder I'm alive and didn't run into a tree or something.

That is all.

I'm thankful to the Lord. Mom was sitting in her wheelchair, having a late dinner when I arrived. A _very_ marked improvement frm two hours earlier, when I had received a phone call from one of my sisters.

I know the Lord does not allow on us more than we can handle. There are others who have gone thru much more than I have. I will admit to fatigue, though.

I work a fair number of hours, am sicker than normal, I still don't have my truck that partially burned situation resolve from two weeks ago, and Mom's health varies from bad to very bad part of the time.

I'm thinking, if the Lord will help some things settle this week, that I need a few days completely away from this area, maybe from this state.

Please pardon my somberness. Thank you all, seriously, that have prayed for my Mom, family and I.

John, I can't imagine what you are going through. I will keep praying for you and your mom.

I am coming down with a summer cold! These are always a pain. Keeping the Lysol handy and getting ready to tackle cleaning the mess that's in the kitchen from this weekend. We didn't really do anything in the kitchen, it just became a catch all for anything we bought or were given...

I hope everyone has a good day!
I'm just me, round and bubbly like a lil honey bee!

We were given 30 pounds of boiled shrimp yesterday. So I have to figure out a dinner tonight that features shrimp as the main course. I'm thinking shrimp with noodles and alfredo.

Still praying John.

Merning.

John, still praying.  Know this is a hard time.  And I hope you get to feeling better too.

Today we are packing up the firework stand.  And it looks like the rest of this week will be crazy as the last few nights.

I wonder if we made a wax figure of Mini, and then melted it, if we'd get Roscoe... -MellerYeller

I can't imagine either. One of my biggest fears as I grow older is something happening to my parents. I really have fear about it.... :smirk2:

I'm here at work....SO didn't want to get up.
My niece Marissa last night went around telling everyone (after the fireworks) "Happy depends day!" haha

lol - we're not directly related, but I call her my niece...

I have two "sisters" Marla and Andrea - we aren't blood related or even marriage related, but I call them my sisters, because we are like sisters. Which Marla and Andrea really are sisters. haha....

Marla has 2 kids: Micah (4) and Marissa (6)
Andrea has 1 kid and 1 on the way: Davis (2) and new baby (like 10 weeks along haha)...

I call them all family.
