Oh, and.....I must needs repent to y'all. And for me to do so it is rare. Remember the whole hot-tea-with-milk brohauha the other day? A couple of threads ago? The one where someone might've call friends pansies, and hoity-toity, loudly proclaiming that tea should only be served sweet and cold?

Well... it is rainy and not nice here today. And cool. And I have been a tad ill-feeling. I found a box of "Celestial Seasonings" Cinnamon Apple Spice Herbal Tea that I had gotten sometime back. Didn't particularly care for it iced. So today I brewed a pot of it. Added sugar and a dash of milk to see what you nuts thought was so great.
The clouds parted, light shown around the cup, heavenly music began to play, and I heard a voice saying " This is My tea, in which I am well pleased." Well- kinda. The light was from my stove vent hood, the music was from the radio, and I actually heard" Sweet Lord, that is hot! And good" from my own mouth. Close enough.
I am a convert. And Lord, I hate admitting I am wrong. Maybe there IS a place for hot tea in wintertime....

You seriously made me *snortlaugh* out loud.

I see how it is. *smitesmitesmitesmite*

Glad I got that out of my system.

It just hit me all of a sudden...as I was typing that...stomach pains. Maybe that's God saying stop smiting?

Nah, I think He was telling you that you should have been smiting him harder. :bigcheese:

Whoa... In my meandering perambulations about town, did I walk through a portal to an alternate reality?  Strange, this LOOKS like the home I'm used to.  Maybe I landed in a parallel universe like they have on Star Trek every other week or so, where it's like the world you belong in, but different.

Maybe they're filming Sliders again and forgot to tell me I'm in the plot...

It's a matter of visibility.  The more you post, the more they will think to bless/smite you.

Now if we could only get you to hang around more...

Personally, I'd rather see her in person than on the board! The hugs are WAY better in person!

Wouldn't you agree? :freaky2:
Yes but then she would be THERE, not HERE.  I, my grandmother, my uncle and a lot of people at my church would rather she were HERE.  But then she would not be there, or there, or there, or any of the other theres that correspond to the other members of this forum.

Hauled water and filled the cistern and drained and refilled the baptistry.

The missionary never did call....he had said he would come Friday afternoon sometime and park, cause they're traveling in a motor home....  Guess he changed his plan.  :eyebrow:

We have a Leslie that looks just like that.  We don't have that kind of Lily though.

We have two of those Leslies like that...and is it politically correct to have a dog on the platform? :o
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Our new place has some steep stairs.  My legs already are sore!

Whew.  Caught up on sharing.  Goodness, there's a lot going on!
Roscoe: your revelation made me really laugh.
SippinTea: You'd miss that teenager.  After about two years, you would realy wish he could come back home.
Jenn Jenn: beautiful baby!!!  So precious!
HeatherB: Hoping we can see you for sure!  Not sure when exactly we'll be through, but we'll give you the heads-up when we've got plans set.
Mel Mel: I hope things don't drive you crazy with your Dad's friend.  Seems like if your Dad were able to do things for him, he would.  Unfortunately, you may feel a lot differently than your Dad does/did about it.  :headrub:  Sorry, chica.  Hope it works out.
Melodya: Sounds like you and Jesus had fun.  :-)
oh...  and Heather!!!  That part about church and Brandon and prayer...  WOW!   God is SOOOOO GOOD!!!
Isaac: what CDs did you score this time?
Seth: :hi:

**HUGS** Taco  Poor thing is miserable and has to go to work early in the morning.  Ugh.  I wish I could work his time FOR him!   :sadbounce:

Called our insurance tonight.  Not sure if the motorcycle guy had any insurance or not.  None is listed on the paper that policeman gave me.  Going to have to try to get the full police report in order to find out.  The damage wasn't outrageously terrible, but it's probably a couple hundred dollars in damage to the rear bumper.  Fortunately, a few years ago I added "uninsured motorist" insurance after being side-swiped when my minivan was parked on the street in front of the church (fortunately, the truck driver who hit my van stayed with the car until I came out).  We'll see what happens.  Praise GOD, the car is driveable, and neither of us are hurt...  at least not majorly.  I'm still feeling tense.  Shoulder blades and back and neck a bit stiff and hurting some, but I'm not sure if that's stress or pain from the impact.  It wasn't a terrible impact, really, but it did jerk the car considerably.  The guy was apparently swerving/moving from lane to lane when I hit the brakes because traffic was stopped at the light.  Scared the lily liver outta me!  I was like...  is he okay?  is he dead?  I called 911 and was trying not to sound freaked out, but it felt like forever before I could even think normally again.  The guy was apparently okay, but his foot/ankle looked like it was in a lot of pain.  The EMTs were having trouble getting his sock off, and he was cussing (not sure if that was about the pain or his bike, or the wreck, or what, though).

RainbowJingles:  Beats me, I probably won't get around to listening to any of it for weeks.  You wouldn't believe how many records and cassettes I have pending right now.

Went in to work and got sent home. Not because I look and feel miserable, not because they were concerned I didn't need to be there, but because "I can't stand to hear that cough another minute". Yep, got sent home because me being sick got on the bosses nerves. Ugh..... somehow that made me feel even worse.

Spent the day cleaning out the shop.....didn't feel great but decided to push through it. Shop's clean and I'm whupped. Tonight is chey's fall Festival, and I don't think I'm gonna make it. Think I'll send Lou and Chey, and lay here at the house....

I've been busy today. :)

I have a few more loads of laundry to do.

But I have to say...vinegar is really worth it's weight in gold for getting out the smell of mold in clothes!
