Gotta pick up some eggs today.  Our farm egg supplier has had trouble keeping pace lately... with the whole family over, we eat a lot of eggs.  Hope she has some more today, we still haven't had The Family Christmas Breakfast yet.

 Well....we are up. And Chey is enjoying the company of her "new sister, Chel".... I told her Chel would have to be an aunt because I'm not old enough to be Chel's dad.... to which Chel replied that I looked old enough.....

Rusty is warming up and we are fixing to take chel for a brief ride to the old country store......

This is just a random thought:  I wish Roscoe would be blessed with high speed internet.  I've been on dial up and it's not fun.

I would agree with that random thought.  It's the price we pay for living in the sticks......Either dial up at the blazing speed of 28.8 kbps if I'm lucky, satiliette which is too expensive, or nothing..... I just feel blessed after going to a friends house and seeing his dial up was 23.3 kbps...

I've got DSL, but it's not very fast as far as video downloads (like playing Youtube etc.) or watching life streaming stuff or whatever.

28K?  Man, it would take days to download a full user-friendly Linux OS.  Maybe more than a week!

Roscoe, ever thought of getting an AT&T USB stick?  You don't have to get a contract anymore, you can get pay-as-you-go internet just like they do go-phones.  With dialup you are probably not in the habit of downloading movies and music en masse so it would be relatively cheap just for checking the forum.

We have DSL @306 Nathan said. I have no idea what that means.  We had cable internet at our last place, I think I liked it better. We have wireless which makes a netflix come through the wii. Works well.

I'm so excited for our first Christmas home!  Nathan's a bit stressed though bc his truck broke down.  Again. :/

Oh, man, I hate that Meller....vehicle problems are no fun at all. I love tinkering with old trucks ect, but having to work on my daily ride is no fun at all...

And in sharing, I just had an awesome meal- thick slices of tasty home made bread, slathered with a mixture of real homemade butter and sorghum molasses. Man, kings don't eat this good.....
