Must be. I had a headache yesterday and I saw flashes of light the day before. Yesterday my hubby took me to Urgent Care I had vertigo so bad and my ears were hurting. They had to clean out my ears, but the doctor said excess earwax wasn't the thing causing the vertigo. So now I am referred to a vertigo specialist. We missed Sunday School but did get to listen to the sermon.
My hubby's nickname is shep and that would make me ladyshep. :)

To insure this day off is better than the last I think I will go back to bed.
The man with the plan!  Sounds like a winner to me.   :great:

If you watched The Space Monkeys when you were a kid, you'll get this one:

"Yes, but Rhesus 2 changed his mind!"  :biglaugh:

Had nightmares all night. I think it's stress related. :smirk2:

Got up, went to breakfast, got the homeless ppl, went to the house an got quite a bit done today. Then came home, and went to WM to get some stuff to make hamburgers for supper. YUM! :fork:

Was able to retrieve a few more stuffed animials today...they are washing now to see if I can get the mold smell out before I discount them completely. I had to throw away a lot of my childhood things today. But did salvage my preaching tapes, and my Duckie Christmas ornaments. :)

Win some, lose some. *sigh*

But God is good. And He knows how much I can take.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

*nod* I've been having weird/bad/bizarre dreams lately too. And I'm suspecting stress as well. *HUGS* Sorry. It's not fun.

Looks like I've got a part-time alterations job (from home) lined up. We shall see how this works out....................................... But I'm SuperMom, right? Sure! I can do ANYthing. Or rather, EVERYthing. Yeah, right. Like I said, we shall see. Grateful for the job/money, but y'all may have to come rescue me if there's too much screaming and crashing plates/sewing machines/boys' heads coming from my house.

Ahhh...one mo day down. Yay! And thank God the back pain was minimal. Tons of things to do, tons of things to worry about- but then I see tons of things I have, and tons of things to be thankful for, and tons of things to trust God for... Right now, I'm thinking veg out for the evening. :P
It is cloudy and rainy....I could a) clean the shop out b) tinker with the 'vette or Rusty c) help Lou with housework or d) laze around online, followed by a relaxing session in my recliner with a book. Yep- I choose (d). :freaky2:

Oh. My. Lord.  Lou brought in a large piece of cake a couple days ago from a friend who bakes. The friend had left it in the oven a bit longe and overcooked the crust and didn't want it. I looked at it and decided there were better things to eat...
Fast forward to today. I'm all outta sweets and have a gnawing pain for them, so the cake meets its match. I figured at least it would be sweet. I cut the overcooked part off, bit into it- and the heavens parted. I have no idea what she calls this, or what she makes it out of, but it tastes like Thinmints.  :o :fork: :fork: ThinMints in a pound cake.  :o :fork: :fork:
In case you don't remember, I put Mini in harm's way in Fort Smith earlier this year for a box of ThinMints. I'd stand on his head for this cake. :laughhard: :fork: :fork: :fork:

First night of "School of Scriptures" w/ Lee Stoneking tonight.  It's Mon-Fri 7-10pm.  It was $100/ person and Nathan and I could not both go, plus as big as my kids are, I'm not comfortable with them being home 3hrs alone every night, at that time of night.  I REALLY hope Nathan explains the syllabus he'll get.  It's no wonder Solomon said he couldn't find a good woman and scarcely a good man. (Ecc 7:28) Men get to go do all this spiritual stuff... lol  Ok, I'm done whining.   I know that is the life of a woman.

I'm going to try and have dinner ready early this week every day.  So far so good..  :teeth:  Stir Fry, Kung Pow Chicken?, pot stickers, and egg rolls & strawberry salad desert.  I'm already beat and it's not even six o'clock yet.. lol  I cleaned the church today and grocery shopped.

Melody

OH and it's been snowing (flurries) here today.   :-?

Personally, im glad you didnt taste it on Thanksgiving.  I can see the headline now:

"SHORT COP GOES BERSERK OVER THIN MINT CAKE: 14 INJURED AT THANKSGIVING"

I mean, I was riding with you when suddenly, you let out a shriek, pull through 5 lanes of traffic, over a curb and through a flowerbed, do a 180 in a parking lot, and jump out screaming.  I was out the other side of the car screaming and 4 blocks away before I realized I had 2 dozen girl scouts and 8 den mothers running beside me.  One den mom had a girl under each arm and was yelling "NEVER MIND ABOUT THE COOKIES!  JES GET OUTTA MY WAY!!!!" as she run by me.  She out run me in flip flops!  It was at that point I noticed you were not with me.  We found you later in the ER, nearly OD on ThinMints.  Total cost of thin mints?  $489.29.  Total cost of flower bed?  $1234.63.  I have no idea what the ER bill was, let alone the lawyer and 2 dozen lawsuits.

So, I am glad you didnt discover it on thanksgiving.

On a very serious note, when you pray, pray for rain for my great state.  We are in the midst of one of the worst droughts in history.  Seriously, it is dust bowl bad in some parts of the state.  And now, with all the fall foliage about gone, and very dry conditions, we are about to have a bad bad BAD fire season.

I forgot to mention today that we had yet another death in our church family. This Brother was in his 70s at least, maybe 80s, and had cancer. He was taken for emergency surgery Sunday, they opened him up, saw a huge tumor that they could not remove, closed him up again and told the family he would be gone within 24 hours. He died at 2:50am today.

Funeral is Thursday.

God answered our prayers though. Last wednesday we had special prayer for him. That God would heal him completely or just take him cause he was in so much pain and the cancer was so severe. So God answered and took him in less than a week. Thank you Jesus for ending his suffering.

Please say a prayer for the Crocker family. Thanks.

One of the few cakes I really like.  Usually I prefer pies, but I'll pass up just about any pie for a good homemade italian creme cake.
