Ohh!  Im slacking!

Ok, here is what we will do...starting today, and running through Oct 31.  Again, this is a challange, not a contest.  So get out those cameras, and take some photos!

This list is not mine, ive saw it several places and most credit it back to pintrest. 



Lets get started!

Also, please resize photos to 640x480 (photobucket) before you post them.  I understand if there is a delay between resizing them and them being pushed out to the web, but if we have 5000 photos on here that are 4000x4000 we might not be popular with the moderators.

Photobucket doesn't work at work. I can't see any photos on the work computer on here. Lame.

How will Chel be doing a self portrait?  Do we accept photos from behind, ala her avatar?

As I have a profound dislike of the way I look in any photo, I will skip the self portrait.

I think that's the point OF this "challenge".
Is to be creative. Don't just take a photo of yourself and call it done.
Get creative on what your "self portrait" will be.

Not all self portraits are straight shots of ones self.

Rats.  I was gonna take one of my reflection in a computer screen, since that is a fairly accurate representation of me, but none of my laptop computer screens will reflect and I no longer have an old fashioned CRT.  Then I thought I'd take a pic of my reflection off the lid of the record player, but with flash off it's too dark to see and with flash on it just bounces the flash back at the pic.

Ah come on.  I have never done anything like that before and it only took four minutes.  I can see a few things I'd do different if I took the time to figure out GIMP a bit better, but from a cold start that's not bad.  If I can do that, in that time, with no experience, you can do a lot better. 

Short version:  I'm not good, I just have a good program.   :cool:
