DO you think i'm stupid for decideing not to go back to school...

MelodyB

Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

SippinTea

Amanda....

1) No, but if you want to give me one, I'd take him. *smile*
2) Yes, but I've never owned any
3) A Big Fat NO! _I_ decided not to go back to school, too. God lead me down a different path, and I'm SO happy He did. :) As long as you're following His leading, you can't go wrong.... even when other people say you're making a mistake. ;) *Hugs* Amanda.

Mel... I've only got 5 minutes....

Assuming this question has not yet been asked . . .

What is your favorite constellation and why?

First off....  :eek!:

I just noticed you quoted me in your sig line.  :o  I'm truly shocked.

*Hugs* Jaybee for thinking I'm quotable. :)

As to your question, I was completely fascinated by stars when I was about 8 or so... but I've forgotten most of what I learned. LOL That was a long time ago. ;) Not sure that I really have a favorite constellation.... hmm.... maybe Leo the lion, because he makes me think of Aslan. :)

Do you snore?

And does it bother you if other people snore and you are sleeping near them?

SippinTea

I've been told I don't snore, but since I'm not awake to find out for myself... I guess I don't know for sure. *smile*

You didnt answer the second part of that question.

SippinTea

Oh, sorry. I'm not functioning very well tonight.

Um.... sometimes it bothers me, other times not. But, if I can sleep through Daddy's snoring across the house, I'm pretty sure anyone else's would be a piece of cake in comparison. ;)

Haha. You're extremely quotable, ST!!  ;)

I recently saw "Grease" in theatres and it was so amazing! So, if you could see one old film on the big screen - which would it be? How about your top five?

(I'm not sure if you go to movie theaters, but if you DID! ;) )

SippinTea

*smile* Thanks, Jaybee. You're heartwarming.

Re: the question... I don't make a big deal about it, but I've chosen not to go to theaters. (I don't look down my nose at friends who choose differently, but I don't feel comfortable doing that for myself.) BUT.... ;) I'm quite fond of The Sound of Music, Sarah Plain & Tall, and Anne of Green Gables. Those probably don't quite qualify for the category you wanted, but those are the first that came to mind.

Cars would be awesome on the big screen too...

(BTW, you answered that question with the way I feel about it too... Naturally!)

WOW...I had to dig this off of page 3!

Dearest Ruby,

So who WAS the first recorded preacher to ever preach from a pulpit?
And do you know how many times recorded in the NT that a chruch service took place in a church building?
And what was the end result of those services?

Couldn't it have stayed there?  :smirk2:

Nehemiah 8:4
And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.

Um... not many. :)

Over-turned tables was one result. An attempted stoning would be another. And.... I don't know what else. :P

SO everytime I go to my friends house whos a 40 year old lady, I end up breaking something.
What should I do to stop breaking stuff and still being able to go to her house?

Oh and she already said she was going to duct tape me to a chair..

SippinTea

Um.... I don't know. Come to my house instead. :D

If you could go to dairy queen and get anything they had, what would you get?

SippinTea

Ummm... usually I'd pick a Blizzard with Reese's peanut butter cups. But today I might pick a cherry flavored dipped cone. :)

Funny you happened to ask that today of all days. I'd just been thinking how many years it had been since I'd eaten a dipped cone.

Has anyone ever had a "jack and jill" from dairy queen?

It's a hot fudge sundae with marshmallow sauce  :fork:

I'm wondering if they know about it in all the dairy queens.....'cause it's not on the menu, but up here 9 times out of 10 they know what you mean when you order it.
