Ok, so I've not been on for a while, because I went to play my fingers off at Djangofest NW.

Here are a few photos from the event...it was a blast!

Sebastian, from the group Norig is on the left, and is utterly amazing. Ivan is in the middle...soon to be one of those people you say "I knew him when...." about. Not sure about the other kid on the right...and that's Ira from B.C., enjoying the music.

Ira, Jon, Aaron...nice accordian playing, for a guitar player!

Ack, I should know their names...the guy with the baseball hat is from Hotclub Pacific...Larry Coryell played with them on Saturday night. Then there's Ben, Spencer (in the cool hat), and Jakob on violin

The mighty Micheal Papillo...from right here in Portland!

Fine fellowship, to be sure...if they were only a little more Apostolic, and didn't drink quite so much...:guitar:

Djangofest is open to all who want to go. No invitation necessary.

See you there next year?

SippinTea

Blah.

Maybe. I'll invite myself to ride in your van. :D

Besides, you know I can't play that stuff.... I'd just be a gawker. ;)

Believe me, the whole town is gawking when we're up there. You'd fit right in.

Sis

Not any more morbid than visiting your grandfather's grave on Memorial day.

This thread got away from us, so it's LOCKED

MelodyB

You sure about that one?
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Sister_Mom

I don't think she's real sure.
God determines who walks into your life....it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.

Sis

OOPS!
