From what I hear from the southerners that have moved up here, our summers are just as bad, just not as long. Idk, I don't even turn on the AC until it's 90's. Regardless of humidity. And I certainly don't use the car AC unless the wind will mess up our church hair.  I have a hard time getting my core temperature back up after it's been really cold for very long. So does Nathan actually if he's working outside. It takes him a good 2hrs to not feel cold when he comes home from work. Gives the kids a reason to snuggle up to him though so it's ok. Lol

Are you coming across Tennessee on 40 to hit 81 north? If so please contact me when you get to Kingsport/Johnson City/Bristol. [It would be right before you hit Virginia] I would love to meet you along your journey.

Long day today. Have to get up early to go to orientation at the college. They are gonna let me go ahead and register as long as I don't take math. Have to take my compass test wednesday.

Back at work...foggy as what out there. Couldn't see five feet in front of the truck all the way in. And apparently it was widespread- had a ham on the radio from North Arkansas reporting the same conditions, and one in Greenville,  Mississippi saying the same. Warm today- and supposed to be a high somewhere around the freezing mark Thursday. Lord, I'm gonna die....  :reaction:

I took Allan to work cause the Ramseys are at a early Dr appointment...stopped by Sonic, got my free rt 44 Cherry Limeade, and a Jr breakfast burrito.

Im thinking about boiling the leftover chicken off the bone and making some chicken and rice with it for dinner tonight.

Today, I need to do a few online apps, and then go to the game store and get Allans PSP traded or repaired or whatever they can do. Its not holding a charge and has to be plugged up all the time when he tries to play.

Yesterday I put in 6 apps. Yall pray that SOMEONE calls me for a interview! I need a job!

I forgot to get her name but pray for the lady who just drew my blood. I believe that was truly an appointment GOD set up. She asked me where I went to church when I told her she begin to tell me she goes to a "Pentecostal Holiness" church and is not happy because in her words "we are barely pentecostal anymore and haven't been holiness in years".

I didn't criticize her church in any way I just told her our church was " very much still pentecostal and holiness and she was welcome to come see for herself anytime she wanted to". She seemed hungry for a move of God in her life. I think I will just stop back in there to invite her again sometime she is the only employee at that lab location.

We have been talking thru stuff since Thankgiving, we are trying to figure things out. There are lots of things to work out before we can get married, and yes, he wants to be dating again.

Im praying hard about everything, and some of the things I saw during the two weeks we were "broke up", God has already started to mend. WITHOUT my telling Allan anything about it. Thats how I know its God "fixing" it and not Allan pretending just to please me and get me to be with him again.

Its complicated. But I do believe I am suposed to be with him. We just have some kinks to work out...Well, God is working them out, not us. ;)

He's from my area. He is in dire need of our prayers and God to move in this situation.

I'm registered for classes. 2 I wanted and 2 I didn't. Of course without taking the test [which I take tomrrow] is why I had to sign up for the 2 I didn't want. Once I take the test I can change some things around.

 :hi:

Glad to be home for the night.  Been a busy day at work.

Ruby, idk your cousin in law well yet but she seems very nice. She's been going here a little while but recently joined choir.  We both agreed your hubby looks similar to the anointed Jason Sciscoe. ☺️

I made this last night and it rocked. So easy!

Double carrot stew

I used chicken broth instead of wine.

Side note: I'm hardly ever on the computer anymore.  I'm almost always posting from my phone. However, the type is SO much smaller and I don't catch all my typos. Often I accidentally type if for Of and then autocorrect does things that I don't catch either. Recently I meant to type IN but apparently missed it and autocorrect made it an IT.

I'm just glad I have no unsavory friends that get hung up on silly things like that. I think I do well for the most part. Lol. I miss having actual buttons for a qwerty.

I'm heading to church, where I will began teaching the series I spoke of earlier. Would appreciate prayers that I  teach it as God would have me, and that it will cause more than just myself to take a long hard look at the basics of our walk with God- the heart, and matters pertaining to it.

Im having a decent week.

Dad still wont talk to me at all. Thats fine with me, cause when he does talk to me he yells, lies or acts stupid. So, silence is better.

It is 3:14 AM. I woke up at 1:20, called Allan, talked for a few...(he was up throwing up all night cause of his ulcer.  *sigh*), and then I couldnt get back to sleep. Here it is almost time to get up, (4:30 is wake up time) and I am still awake. I went to bed at 10:30, so that means Im gonna be running on less than three hours of sleep if I dont get some rest before then.

Last night..or whatever...Tuesday night, I must have slept awkward cause I had/have a crick in my neck all day, and its still there now. Annoying more than painful. Limits my mobility.

Tonight is church. And today I need to go out and fill out more applications. I really need one of these jobs to open up for me. Please God! I need a job! Friday night, Im not sure what the plan is. We may go night fishing. In fact, I need to go to Walmart and get some glow in the dark bobbers. Maybe Ill do that later today too.

Im rambling. Im bored. No one up to talk to. I already made Allans lunch. LOL

I should venture outside to the truck and get the keys to the storage unit out of the glove compartment so I can go to storage and look for my good tackle box while dad is at Dialysis. I also need to drop off a few things at storage.

Ill go do that before dad wakes up. I dont want any yelling about me getting the keys out of the truck.

Plus, I need to do it in the dark cause Im in my PJs that consist of a tee shirt that has some holes in it, and some cut off, knee leanth sweatpants that also have a few holes...not exactly what I want to be caught roaming around the church foyer and parking lot in. Hehe.
