Poopsie, dearest, this may be your chance to move into that van down by the river....

Its dads van, and he tried to take the keys away from me today. lol

I got my house key back, and I took Allans key he had to the van, and Im gonna get copies made tomorrow...extra ones too. So the next fit he has, Ill still have keys when he goes in my purse and tries to steal them like he did today while I was in the shower. :smirk2:

Had Thanksgiving with our pastor. It was good.

Yeah, that.

After the mess this morning, our lunch was good, we laughed and had a great time. I spent the evening with Allan, and then we met with our Aunts and went early Black Friday shopping. The Aunts got a few gifts for people, and Allan got some new jeans, a shirt and an awesome leather jacket...all for under $100.

Came home, Dad didnt lock me out, he locked the door I have a key to, but he failed to lock the other door that there is no key to. The apartment is quiet and dark and so Im in my room now, drying clothes and fixing to go to bed.

Dont know what tomorrow will bring, but we will see.

Mel it might be time for your uncle to load your mom and dad up and take them and drop them off at your oldest brothers. It might be the most effective way to get real action.

Um... even I know that is one thing you Just Don't Do, going through a lady's purse.  You should have rolled up your wet towel and popped him.

In local news, I am about burned out on practices.  We have multiple Christmas things going at church, set to play on different Sundays through the month of December.  Youth service in about a week, Children's Church kids will be singing some specials on the 8th, Christmas play in about three weeks, a special set of songs for the praise singers on the Sunday before Christmas... and I'm mixed up in all of them.

It is fun though to watch different leaders trying to squeeze in an extra practice during the week without infringing on anyone else's practice...  And on the upside, as the month of December rolls on and events happen, the practices will thin out more and more the farther we get into the month.

Praise Report; Neurologist ordered me to go on 12 liters per minute of oxygen during the cluster headache attacks. Oxygen has proven to shorten duration and in some cases severity of the CH. These attacks last 15-25 minutes and are currently happening 8-9 times a day. A $40 bottle of oxygen might last 2 1/2 headaches at such a high flow. We had pretty much given up on being able to afford this, but GOD moved on the hearts of some people who had already said they couldn't help us.

We picked up $500 dollars worth of oxygen up today which should last through the weekend. They are covering the cost of whatever amount I need for a full month. Which according to when the CH attacks stop could be thousands. We serve a miracle working GOD. THANK YOU JESUS!

I didn't mean to sleep in so late. I woke at 6:30, went back to sleep, got a phone call at 7:00, then back to sleep, and then I woke at 9:something.

Now it's 10 and I haven't left my room yet cause I don't hear anything in the apartment. I don't know who is where or what they are doing.

Need to gather my clothes and get in the shower. Then contact the Aunts and see when they are going to get the Christmas tree. Idk if I wanna help with that or not, but it would be better than running into conflict by staying here.

I'm up. Barely. Wanted to sneak over to Tulsa today, but Lou has to work. Wouldn't be fair for me and Chey to slip off, besides, I slept in an hour longer than I should've. Maybe next year.... think I'm gonna make me a ham sammich, now. :fork:

Cooking dinner for the family tonight.
The smell of Claude's Marinade is swiftly permeating the air.
Only 5.5 hours to go.  :noo: :cry2:

What happens in Tulsa on the Friday after Thanksgiving?

Speaking of which... I found out today that a dear lady of our church does not like chocolate.  Or ice cream.  And she is from Arkansas.  Bro. Bobby, care to comment?

I was gonna sneak over and have lunch with Mini and family, as well as a couple others that might have been there....
And obviously, we kicked your church member out of the Promised Land because of her lack of taste. :P

Got a funeral viewing to go to Sunday afternoon.  :sadbounce:  My Department Manager's mom passed away the day before Thanksgiving.

Melody

We only go to see our family in Tulsa once a year at Thanksgiving. It was a Wonderful visit this year.  A highlight is getting to see  Mini and the fabulous Chellebelle and the mumchkins.  Their kids are awesome, love their personalities.  I haven't figured how to tell them that though we have a grand time visiting and laughing, that we're deeply honored that they make time and travel to meet us.  In all of life's business and work, it's the pockets of precious moments that make life so sweet.

Yes, Roscoe. You were missed.  One of these days we're going to have a hilarious time with yas.

MelodyB

Well, after the fiasco yesterday, today was quite uneventful. In the sense that there wasn't any drama.

I got my shower and dressed, called the Aunts, and we went and picked out the Christmas tree for the Pastors house. Then we hit a store for some decorations and came back and fixed lunch. Ate, and then the tree was delivered. So we started the decoration process. I left about 4ish and went to WM and had vehicle keys made. Then I came home and went to the apartment. Found out mom "mistakingly" used my TOOTHBRUSH. UGH!!! I am so grossed out! Then I left.

Now I'm sitting in the foyer waiting on Allan to get cleaned up and over here so we can go eat and do whatever we want to do.

That was my day.

Lou came in and put me to work making cinnamon rolls for her mom's dinner tomorrow. I shall doubtless attempt to avoid that dinner as I have for the last several years. And since she's made me trot out all the ingredients to make cinnamon rolls, I am experimenting. :fork:
In a second batch, I am susbtituting raw honey for white sugar....then after I spread the cinnamon/brown sugar mixture on the dough, I'm gonna spread some of Kim's homemade apple butter liberally on top, then roll into rolls and bake. Shooting for AppleCinnamon honeybuns/rolls....
We shall see how they turn out...the honeyed dough seemed a tad drier than normal, but it may have been my imagination...

I need to get off my rear and clean the kitchen.

Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Heather

We cleaned the kitchen last night. Mike destroyed it over night.....

Hopefully we are getting my car fixed today. On one hand I like dad's car. $30 almost fills it up and it lasts for a week. On the other if weird to drive and I can barely get in and out of it.

My car

My car could eat dad's car for breakfast. His car only comes up to right above my belly button. It's so tiny! Don't get me wrong I'm thankful for them letting me borrow it, but I'm just ready to have my car back.

I am being even more lazy than normal today...I haven't even ventured out of the house yet. And truthfully, my plans are to remain close to that state the rest of the day. :p

We've been to a couple garage sales. Then ventured out again for hubby to look at a pickup, but that's about it.

Heather

I felt guilty and went to Lou's parents for dinner. Really good people, but lands I nearly went insane, what with the 15+ grandkids screaming and carrying on, and the couple of family members that would be a waste of lead if they were shot.....but I DID enjoy talking with my brother in law, then slipped away a bit early and got to talk to one of my best friends for a bit, seeing as how he was on patrol when I passed through. And I drove Rusty, so that's always a plus. Now- I gotta prepare myself for work tomorrow. Boo. The three days off went by much too fast...

I usually don't feel this way at this time of year but... I can't wait for the holidays to be over.  Mostly I'm burnt out on christmas program practices.  Youth service practice tomorrow after church and Tuesday, Christmas play practice Monday and Friday, praise team Christmas practice Thursday... after a few weeks of that it gets really old.

And yes I know I already mentioned this.  I'll probably mention it again.  This is my venting for the day.

Good Evening   :hi:

Learned today that one of the managers where I work was hit in the face with a PlayStation 3 during the Thanksgiving sale.  Made me very thankful that it wasn't any worse than that at my store during those sales.
