That is neither the inexpensiveness nor potential we're looking for in a getaway.

I am cracking up, Nathan is going to laugh when I tell him about your suggestion.

No mumchkin name calling or muffin top references there.

:o Lands. I leave for a bit and the things y'all began talking about....  :o
Been to town, picked up a few things, then decided to run by and check on my tower that I have had at my little junkyard property for years, as I wanted to put it up with a ham radio antenna on it. Became a whole new level of mad when I discovered that sometime since September or so, someone has carried it off. I hate a thief, and if I find out who stole it I will have to have prayer for forgiveness and probably bail money because I am going to beat them like a yard dog...
And I probably need to repent just over what I've been thinking..
I believe I shall make some bread just to calm me down.

Some people are jerks.

Sorry they took your stuff, Roscoe.

Are you sure you aren't going to make doughnuts instead.....  :hypocrite:

That's one of the two things that can make me really, flaming mad.  Steal from me or lie to me.

To paraphrase from a show I saw, may Roscoe be forgiven for what he will do.   :o
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

Ok whew!

I'm caught up on the thread. I had not read since yesterday and I had to catch up a bit.

Re: top of the muffin/Seinfeld show.

I watched that show ages ago and in that episode they decided that the muffin TOPS were best, so they opened a business with that name and only sold tops of muffins. Then they had to figure out what to do with the bottoms. No one wanted them. They tried to give them to the homeless and they didn't want then, and it made for a funny episode...trying to dispose of the bottoms without being wasteful.

Been a busy stressful day today, but praise God I got thru it!

We went out to our house to try again to sort stuff out. All the things that we are keeping are out now, but we need to dispose of the rest of the stuff. So trash can by trash can was hauled out of the house and burnt today. We got the office cleared out and most of my own room. And the hall closet. Now what is left is mom and dads closet and the guest bed room closet. Plus some left in my closet.

I had a HUGE fire made. Wow...it was lovely. Except when I piled my own childhood belongings on the fire and watched it disappear. It was breaking my heart.

When we got home I was BLACK. I means really. I had soot and dirt and mold ALL over me. My clothes were horrible. I took a nice long shower and then dad wanted to go to WM. so we did.

When we pulled into the parking lot, dad said "Now THAT is a motor home..." I said "Looks more like a tour bus." then dad said "It might be Brian Free, he is supposed to have a concert tonight at Lighthouse Baptist church." so as we passed by...right beside the door it said "Brian Free Inc."

So it really was him. Lol we didn't see him in WM though. I keep looking for him.

Now I'm resting. I'm fixing to go make some mac and cheese and snow peas to eat with the chicken I've had in the crock pot all day. Smells yummy.

Donut selling with the Youth tomorrow.

My feet hurt.

That is all.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Brian who?  Never heard of him. What does he sing?

WHAT!?

YOU, of all people that have 58 million albums and 95 gazillion songs, and you don't know who Brian Free is?

Chseeads

Now granted, I wouldn't know him if he walked up and kicked me in the shin, though I am sure I have seen his pic before.  And I wouldn't recognize particular songs by him, but I never have been good at recognizing who sings stuff very well unless it's somebody with a very distinct sound/voice.

But Brian Free & Assurance.....Southern Gospel.

MelodyB

He was the tenor for Gold City for a long time!

I too and shocked and appalled that YOU of all people question who he is!

:sadbounce:

I thought I would make you jealous.

Ah, so that's where I've heard that voice before.  I youtubed him and it sounded familiar.  I don't know members of a group though, I just know groups.  I couldn't even tell you who was in the Happy Goodmans, except their last names were probably Goodman.
