That is so awesome Mini!

Had an amazing service today.  Words cannot describe.  Reminds me of a phrase I heard recently: When God's in it, there's no limit.  I lasted not long into the choir song before I went down to the front to shout.  There was a tongues/interpretation during Sunday school, my pastor preached it so well, I can't imagine anyone left without the Holy Ghost, there was such a love of God in that place.  I am so thankful for the grace of God that brought us to this church.

I also LOVE that when people raise their hands at altar service for healing, that my pastor asks after we pray for them if they had pain before, is it still there.  Much of the time, when there is pain, it is gone.  God heals!

and nobody tell Nathan I used one of his black socks....

:laughhard: :laughhard: :laughhard: Thanks for the laughs. ;)

Ya know... after seeing Cheesy get all excited about sweet potatoes, I'm kinda surprised that Mel is his Succulent Peach instead of his Sweet Potato. *grin*

Chel.... *raises one eyebrow*.... do I know about your plotting and planning? or is this a different plotting and planning? and... more importantly... should I be worried?!?

Okay you've said that much.  Now you have to tell us what you know.  If you didn't want to tell us, you shouldn't have mentioned that you know about it.   :nono:

And I'll see your eyebrow and raise you a toenail.

Ewww. I think I'll fold.  :biglaugh:

Back at work. Ready to go home already. Lord, if I hate being at a job where I'm paid to do nearly nothing this bad, who would I survive physical labor?!?  Dear Lord, please don't let me ever fall that far from grace.  :laughhard:

Morning everyone!

I'm really looking forward to church today.  Let me tell you what God did for our church.

We have been busting at the seams, and knew we needed a church van.  So for the past few months, we have been looking for one pretty seriously.  Friday night, I got a call.  We now had a church van!  2009 12 passenger van.  Church logo on the side of it already, and ready to roll!

Funny thing was...we didnt buy it!

Another minister and his family were in town eating, and drove by the church and saw the van.  They stopped, was looking at it, and called the pastor to say "We REALLY like our new van."  Our pastor said "Uh...what new van?"  Someone bought it for us, and gave it to us!  Whats funny was the pastor and his wife were sitting down to eat and were discussing needing a new church van.  He was showing her on his phone 2 that he had found when they got the phone call.

We have no idea who did it, but we are so thankful.

God is GREAT!

Here is a picture of our new van.  May not look like much to some folks, but it looks like a miracle to me!

Filled up this morning....Sadly, due to the number of miles I drive weekly, I'll be filling up again before the weekend. :smirk2:

Great, now I'm being blamed for higher gas prices too?   :-\

In other news, I am going to meet some cool people tomorrow.  I think they already left home on their trip, though, and I forgot to tell them how to recognize me.  Oh well, the toe shoes should give it away.

Ah, they said they were heading down to AR.  Meeting you?  If so, should I forward a couple loaves of bread by way of them?

It's been over a year since I've seen any cool GP people.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Well I just made tea, dinner, and cleaned the house.
I packed up everything in my room that is fragile, and cleaned out the fridge of things that could be tossed, I have washed all my clothes...There is not much left for me to do, I think I am ready for the hurricane.
I have things to grill, a tent, a flashlight... I'm ready to party!!
Now if I can just pray it goes away so I don't lose any work...

I'm fixing to clean the kitchen while making a pot of soup out of leftovers.

And Ruby my dear, I try not to make a habit of looking in that mirror thingy. That person doesn't look like the people in the magazines do and I don't like her much.

Newsflash, Mel- The "person in the magazines" don't look like the person in the magazines.....that's a product of much airbrushing, lighting, and makeup. No way anyone but my wife could be flawless, and she ain't in any magazines.  :hypocrite:

And yes, I AM looking for brownie points if Lou reads this. LOL
