So yeah.

Getting cable TV in this house was a BAD idea. :o

I love the criminal shows, and the history channel has some awesome shows now.

Bad, very bad.

Hi guys. Had a great weekend. I think I have a cold or allergies, I can't tell the difference.

What's everyone doing for Memorial weekend?

My boyfriend is coming down and staying until Monday. Excited! :)

Lot of violence in multiple threads since this morning.  Did everyone get possessed by the ghosts of Chicago old-style gangsters?

So Grandma's car has questionable brakes, so I'll be driving her around tomorrow anyway.  If it ain't one thing it seems it's another.  But it's a good excuse to visit that really good restaurant again...  :fork:

Yay Nelle!

Trying to find a good place for a family vacation in the winter of 2012 for my sisters & us.  11 people, hopefully someplace warm. It has to be after harvest season cause my Bil is a farmer. Looked@Florida but Idk the region so we'll probably over pay for something crowded cause Idk better.

Come to Tennessee.  We're friendly.  Specifically West TN.

Or come to any place near someone on the forum.  They can give you directions to good places to stay, eat, see.  For us, Shiloh battlefield park is probably the most prominent tourist attraction here.

Let's see... Fuzzy and Chel live in a warm area.  Taco would be good to ask about his region.  Mel could inform you on Mississippi, if you can stand the mosquitos.  All these places are comparatively warm in the winter.

The Freemans, a family I go to church with here, have two cabins in the hills of southeast Oklahoma. It is where we held the 2008 meetup. They have six beds in the one cabin, and three in the other. Gorgeous spot, you can look back at the old archived thread to see some of what we did there.

Exceptionally reasonably priced, I might add, and they treated us like family.

Newsman do you mean The Freemans, as in the gospel singing group?

no, just a great family in the local church.

I would admit, however, it can get quite chilly/cold in OK, depending on exactly how late in the year you are talking. They also have some hunters that pre-reserve the cabins for deer season.

Thanks guys. It'd be Nov.-March time frame, & the SE portion of the us, maybe Texas idk. I am gonna call Mel & get the low down on on her area.  For me, that'd be ideal to meet her!

Howdy y'all.  Think I'll have a can of refried black beans with a lot of butter for breakfast, with some bread crumbled up in it.
