Ah, it was an overturned semi.  A UPS one, on a bridge.  Perhaps the driving conditions is why this is the Bible belt, people calling on Jesus.
:laughhard:
It don't have to be bad weather....anytime you feeling weak in the Lord, come ride a few miles with Lou. You'll be prayed through and start interceding for others within ten miles.. :laughhard:

It's 5° now!  Lol  3rd semi flipped on the side.  It must've been earlier, the roads arenow good again.  DM must be cheap on their roads.

Snow don't bother me. I don't like ice. I've had to drive on ice enough in the course of my job I have no issues. It's all the other drivers that I hate.
Yeah, that's the problem here.  People in this area just don't know how to drive on ice.  OR on snow.

Fortunately they usually just stay home and I have a nice four lane highway, with a turn lane, and two shoulders - seven lanes of snow covered goodness - to play in all by myself.  Weeeeeeeee!

Woo-Hoo! I want to shout! As I made reference to earlier, we closed on a refinance of our home.  They had told us to be prepared to pay nearly $700 tonight in assorted fees, so we skrimped and saved to have the money....lady just left our house after signing the papers. The fees? Just under $240.  That, my friends, is a $400+ blessing just when we needed it most. AND- we expected payment to be due in January- nope- February. That's another large  financial blessing, just when I was wondering where we would get the money for new tires for my work truck.....

I wonder if we made a wax figure of Mini, and then melted it, if we'd get Roscoe... -MellerYeller

And the church says AMEN.

AMEN!!!! Even though I should just tell you to come see me! I'll have a house all to myself until Tuesday morning [and not the one with the atrocious driveway ]

I'm going to have to go to the doctor again. The left side of my neck has now hurt for a week and a half. I can't turn my head to the left [makes driving interesting...]. And since everything is shutting down for sunday and the holidays, today is my last day to go. Sigh....

Days like this, I'm reminded of a Calvin & Hobbes cartoon.  Calvin is lying in bed, his mom tries to get him to get up - "I'm not getting up until it's as warm out there as it is in here."  Seriously, I had the heater on level 1 all night and it's still really cold in here.  The water in my Brita pitcher is almost colder than if I'd left it in the fridge.

Ugh.. Glad it is my day off. The Chinese have truely attacked me. I have several things I need to do- a trip to town for example- but can't get going....

Yeah but you know how "entangling alliances" can be.  Got us into a world war.

Ooops...thought I had defined Chinese disease before. Got that term from an old cop friend....."Dragon (Draggin') Butt"...Meaning I can't get motivated. When I have one of these mornings I have become accustomed to texting Mini that the Chinese have attacked... :laughhard:
Having a juvenile, twisted sense of humor is invaluable in understanding me. And, since Mini has no problem understanding me, it'll help you understand him too.. :P

Broadcasting live from the church sound booth, it's Isaac!

(insert sound of crowds booing cheering)

The wedding is over here at church and the reception is in progress.  Just 8 people here though, not counting me and the pastor.  They probably could have done it cheaper just getting subs from Subway... or that's what the practical (skinflint) guy in me says.

I'm keeping busy, brought a bunch of already recorded albums to edit.
