I should weigh around what Weird Cat does....and used to at one point.....  Unfortunately I currently weigh what him and Roscoe combined do.

:P

Vetclinicgirl, is it timber that belongs to somebody else that they are cutting?

Heather

His dad owns a few acres cut out from the Henson family land. So it's Brandon' grandma's land they are logging. She lives next door but way up closer to the road on her property. Our house sits waaayyy back on the back end of our property. So we have the long driveway with closest access to her trees.

The party was quite lovely and Brandon had a good time.

I am so sick of Christmas. I really am. We are not wanted at anyones house for the meal this year. We were just told they are having family only...well the last time I checked, we were family. And how come my other aunt and uncle from out of town AND two other not immediate family are invited?

We can't afford to buy the fixins for a dinner worthy of Christmas for just the three of us. It's be a waste. Plus I am SO STINKING SICK OF BEING TRAPPED WITH JIST MY PARENTS ALL THE TIME! It's been 8 months for crying out loud! If I don't get out of here soon I'm honestly gonna have a nervous breakdown. I'm sick of being with them 24/7!

Christmas has always been a big joke in our family. No real gifts, no real celebration...why am I getting upset this year? It's typical for us.

And I'm just sick of the whole thing. I hate it.

I think we should celebrate the birth of Christ, I'm not saying that. But with my family. Who really cares? It's just a day for arguing and attitude. Why did I have hopes for this year? Why do I even try. It's stupid of me to think that it would be any different.

I'm upset.

Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

You have a standing invitation here.  And no doubt at a few other places.  Your family too, if you can stand to bring them along.

Then Granny Henson ought to have the driveway re-graveled after she gets all that timber dough.  :demand:

Ok. I'm better now. I took a drive. Went to WM. walked around.

I feel a bit better about the situation. Hurt some still. But some better.

Thanks for the invite. I'm sure there really are plenty of places we would be welcome. We did get invited to BOTH of my Brothers houses. But with one 4 hours away, and the other 6 hours away, and dad being stuck here cause of dialysis, we can't go away that far for just one day. And it would have to be one day cause he has to be on the machine both Monday and Wednesday. So Christmas day is all we would be free, and thats too far of a trip and too much money just for lunch.

Idk what our plans are now. We will see.

Lord of heaven....

I'm not sure whether to suggest we put you in a home due to the fact that you go to Wal-Mart to feel better, because WM is a horrid, twisted place to make you feel better.....

Or if I should say, "Ah, yes, a good old trip to WM and seeing how many people there are that are horrifically worse than yourself will brighten anybody right up..."

If it was a grocery I could understand it. I love to just go to the grocery and walk around.
But Walmart?! No way!

It's windy like crazy here! Storm and/or cold fronts blowing in!
I'm afraid my balcony is gonna take flight. Lol it's already kinda hoaky!

For the record I was walking around the grocery section. Lol

both, Seth.  LOL

I'm sorry, Mel.  They probably can't get away with just inviting you and not your parents.  I thought you all were just supposed to be staying there a little while, and only if the dog didn't soil inside the house?  Or ... I can't remember now.  Have your parents worn out their welcome?  Is there any sign of moving?

I doubt it's you.  If your parents drive you up the wall that much, they probably aren't the most popular with others either.

One thing is for certain.  You are a strong lady, and I admire you for trying to help take care of your parents.

And another thing.  God moved you there for a certain season of purpose.  Remember how quickly he did it and it was a challenging transition both leading up to and during?  God always has wonderful things in store for you and they can happen quickly.  He's done it before, He can do it again.  God is aware and cares.   Plus, we care!

I don't mind going to Walmart but from now till Christmas it's too crowded.

We have a storm coming in as well.  Supposed to get 2-4in. of snow tonight.  And then have it blow every where tomorrow, making the roads bad.  There's a blizzard warning.  Way to start winter.. lol

I hate the Walmart over here by my new place.
It's literally crowded EVERY hour of the day!
I've gone at almost midnight and seriously it was like Saturday morning packed. Ugh.

*Hugs* Mel. I'm sorry, dearie. I'd invite you over, but it might be a bit of a drive....  :-\

My lovely van is back in our driveway. *happy sigh* And it runs 'n' everything.

Quite the contrary, Melodya. Pastor came to us and asked us to stay. We are NOT going to be moving for awhile now. Maybe a year or two. That's why they put a fridge and stove in here. So we can stay.

Hello, my Friday. It's so good to see you.  I thought you'd never come.....Now if I can make it through the day without getting blown away- the wind is atrocious.

Seth-Put it this way, Granny Henson is a (enter bad word here). When Papaw Henson was alive he'd give you the shirt off his back. Granny Henson would take it back and find a way to get your pants and shoes too. She finally fessed up a couple years ago to keeping thousands of dollars the church had taken up for Brandon's family when his sister passed away.

That is awesome.  What in the world could it be then?  That is so odd.

It snowed a few inches.  School & Nathan's work is cancelled.  No fun.

Howdy y'all.

And with today's greeting out of the way, time to make a lot of bread.  Today's all I've got - if it doesn't turn out well, I don't get a second shot because tomorrow and Saturday are booked.

Our electricity went out last night when the storms came through.  We'd actually had to turn on the air conditioner yesterday and now it's 40*.

Cus it was close or over 80 yesterday! Then by last night/this morning 39!! Dumb!
The winds were pretty fierce last night. They kept me up. The trees kept hitting the sides of my building...and I seriously thought my patio was going to take flight. lol

Though today's pretty crappy...I did wake up to weight loss, so all-in-all it's not the worst day ;)

Tonight will be interesting though. Can't say I'm looking forward to it.

I wish I could replicate my family and send a copy to everyone who needs one.   :-\  Or afford gas money to ship everyone from the forum over here for Christmas.
