I pulled my neck/shoulder trying to take the rings off my vegetable soup from the other day.  Good golly they're stuck....

I got a much better night's sleep last night than I deserved, considering I ate 3.75 slices of pizza for supper.

Back for a day or so. Need to apologize to everyone for my "attitude" a year or two ago.

Also have a prayer request in the prayer section.

Hope everyone is doing fantastic.

Lynx

Okay, k, kay.  I must have missed the fun to which you refer, but welcome back.

My grandmother's name was Kay, and we had a lot of fun with it.  Oh Kay, okay?  k.

Did I miss something? Did you change your name?
Welcome back nonetheless...

They are reinstalling Windows on my work computer to see if that will make it work better. Isaac don't even start.

What?  Windows is my go-to OS for music making.  Use the tool that works, I say.  And for a Windows computer that is always online, an OS reinstall is advisable every year or two.

Ugh.  I just had to buy two loaves of store bread.  Gummy, floppy, spongy store-bought bread.

It's not for me - Grandma and aunt Lucy are doing sandwiches for a church thing tonight.  But still, I feel... soiled.  Me, Isaac, buying store bread.

Hi :hi: Welcome back! Still having pain from TMJ? Or has that cleared up for you? Hoping so. :)

Going to fellowship meeting at Hope shortly.

Hello.

Who is this KKay? What was your name before?

Well. As of 10 am this morning we are officially homeless. There was a foot and a half of water inside this morning, and the water was still rising. We went to go pick up my car and dads van this afternoon and there is prolly about 3-4 feet of water in the house. *sigh* it will be about a week before we can get in and acess the damage. So I don't know what of value we have left, if anything.

I have cried my eyes out and still tried to be strong for dad. He's already down and talking of bad things. Lord help.

I'll check in later.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

None of my business Mel, but hopefully y'all have insurance, which will greatly help. As Lou and fuzzy said, praying for ya.

It's hard to find insurance that covers flooding.

I knew it is a seperate policy from the normal homeowner's policy, like earthquake insurance is, but I have no problem getting one here....I'm not on the coast though. :(

Hopefully, if not, there is government aid to help..

Nope, no insurance. It's too expensive. After Katrina is nearly impossible to afford it.

Leaves Mel a big Hug.  I'm so sorry sis.  All those people in the same situation, I'm so glad you have Jesus.

Morning all. It appears to be a sunny day here. I guess the storm system made its exit earlier than predicted.
Bummed out by Mel's situation and praying for her. Bummed out by my friends having left yesterday.
But all in all- blessed and going to thank God for it. Fixin' to take Chey and go get a few groceries...
