I can't think of any Apostolics in magazines.  Soooo... I think the magazines are irrelevant.

Also, none of the people I adore look like the magazines sooo... does that make them harder to look at? Neither should it repel you.

We should be clean & healthy, which is a work in progress.

I happen to think you have pretty eyes & a great laugh.  & I haven't even met you yet! You're not going to convince anyone here that you're ugly sooo...

NEXT_SUBJECT.

Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Melody

*extra big hug*  cause I loves ya lady.  That was not my mean voice, maybe my serious mama voice though... hehehe

If you were here I'd say it while sliding a healthy piece of pie/treat/coffee towards you.  lol

Been making and canning vegetable soup all day.

I made vegetable beef soup. I'm gonna freeze some of it in baggies. It's GOOOD! I wish Kimber was in town this week, I'd take her some. It's potato free!

Now if I can just pray it goes away so I don't lose any work...
How can you worry about losing work if you quit your job? ???

Miracle of miracles! Mom made a peach cobbler! It was really good, and I likely ate too much of it.

I'm full and too warm at the moment. But I have my fan on and pointed at me, and have resigned to my bed, so maybe I'll cool off and get some rest.

So far, nary a drop of Isaacs dreaded wrath has even fallen on our abode. I hope I'm not awakened by it in the wee hours of the morning.

wanted to share this one!

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

God is all-powerful. He is able to provide for every need that meets a believer in his walk with Christ. As humans we often think of "needs" in the light of food, shelter, and physical amenities. However, our "real" needs are spiritual, for our spirit is eternal. Jesus has provided for all of our spirital needs. As the Apostle Peter says in his second letter:

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (2 Peter 1:3-4)

The Philippians trusted in God's promises, and they gave to the Lord's work out of what little they possessed. Praise God that we can trust in Him for our daily provision of all our needs!

Chel.... *raises one eyebrow*.... do I know about your plotting and planning? or is this a different plotting and planning? and... more importantly... should I be worried?!?

:beret:
Okay you've said that much.  Now you have to tell us what you know.  If you didn't want to tell us, you shouldn't have mentioned that you know about it.   :nono:

And I'll see your eyebrow and raise you a toenail.
Ewww. I think I'll fold.  :biglaugh:
Great.  You do the folding, I'll do the ironing.

And SippinTea I know you wouldn't tell, you know you wouldn't tell, but it was still a lot of fun to say that.  Just pickin'.  ;)

:pound: :pound: #1- I didn't deserve a smiting.  :hypocrite:
#2- If you smited (smote?) me, it's only fair you smite the galoot.

And morning all. I am back at work. Ready for the day to be over. Woke up this morning and couldn't find my keys ANYWHERE. After a frantic search, I stole Lou's truck key and came to work. Turns out my sister grabbed my keys by mistake when she was at the house last night dropping off fresh baked peanut butter cookies.  :smirk2:

But were they good cookies?  If they were good enough they might be worth the missing-keys hassle.  :D

Bless you for that. ;)

I stop by on occasion to make sure my account doesn't fall into the abyss of non-posthood. Is that a thing?

While I was here, I saw heaps of old threads that I posted in 5 or so years ago that are still hanging around. How cool, and also strange, to see my 5 year ago self's posts!

Anyway, y'all take care! See you around [some of you more than others! :)]

I met a couple of cool people today.  One is a fellow nerd, so we had a lot to talk about.  His wife is hard of hearing, but says it's more fun to go with what she THINKS he said than get a hearing aid.   :biglaugh:

I blessed her too, just for showing up.

The storm hasn't been a real big deal yet. Just some light rain off and on.

In tother sharing news, I woke up SICK! Well, I say "woke up" loosely cause I didn't sleep well. I have what appears to be a nasty head cold. Complete with non stop coughing and fever. My throat is RAW and swollen, and I've done basically nothing but lay in the bed all day long, waiting on the storm and napping when I can.

I'm about to go eat some of that soup I made yesterday. Maybe food will help seeing how I haven't had anything yet today. Lol
