No excitement, hugs, comments or otherwise for me Ruby?!~!? I'm the one person you left out lol!

:pound:

:sadbounce:

She left me out too. :sadbounce:
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

MelodyB

Do you have to refrigerate the eggs?

When I was gathering eggs with Kimber on Sunday, I noticed that when we brought the bucket in, she didn't put them in the fridge. I didn't ask her then, so I'm asking you now...

Eggs can keep at room temp for quite some time.  Some of the green, hippy, health nut type people do that.  If you leave them unwashed they supposedly keep better.....

We put them in the fridge, not always immediately, but within a couple days.

So they say there's a bunch of things need done to the car...gonna let em do the 2 that they said need it worst....*shrug*

I tried a caramel mocha from McDonalds earlier. It was really good, just wish the foam hadn't moved and the mocha hadn't burned half my tongue hahaha.. I'm surviving though. :)

Meeting was actually kinda fun. I won one of two gift cards! The other lady that carpooled with us won the other one. :)

Heading home from Memphis now. Ready for bowling!! Glad I get to sleep in tomorrow! I'm tired haha...

Post monster musta eated it....  :smirk2:

Or else the warble in my brain just made me think I posted and I didn't.  :ugly:

But anyways, yeah, one has to wonder.

Thanks to Spud, now this song is in my head:

I saw stars dancin' on the water, I heard Elvis, singin' Blue Suede Shoes, that ol' muddy river was my witness, the night I fell in love with the Queen of Memphis....

Oh, and I thought of Jerbil today, cause I noticed a place called The Waxing Station (or something I can't remember what the last word was...I think it started with S though...lol....)...  Tried to take a pic of the sign, but didn't get it....  BBW anyone?

mini

Lets not talk about BBW.  I still have nightmares about that...

eggs stay better longer, refigerated.. but I wouldnt keep them longer  than a week or so that way.. (actually, i always refigerate my eggs because im creeped out.. lol) but, as an egg loses its freshness, it actually has an air pocket inside the egg that expands, the older the egg is! You can submerge an egg in a bowl of water, if it lays on its side its fresh, if it stand on end it is not.

The next few days at work are going to be a battlefield, looks like.  They're really cracking down hard on procedure.  Procedure = how they want you to do things, and you would not believe how pig-pathed it is.  There is a procedure for how you put meat on the grill (8 at a time, and you have to put them down in a certain order) how you take it off (4 at a time, and heaven help you if you scrape up the wrong one first - you have to take them off the grill in a certain order) and when someone calls for a tray of meat you have to acknowledge by saying "thank you."  Not "yeah," "okay," "roger," "10-4," "wilco"... it has to be "thank you."

Problem is, night shift doesn't know how to say procedure.  There's gonna be some real unhappy people over the next week or so.  Either that or some day shift people are going to be crying "Double standard" and a few other things.

On the upside when I got home there was a big box waiting for me.  My computer has arrived!  Now let's see what an i5 processor can do.

Oh yeah, that reminds me... I'm going to be torturing a new laptop so I won't be here as much as usual tonight.  The operating system might stay on for an hour, or maybe not... when I got my Gateway it had five OS installs in the first 24 hours, and that was with normal sleep and work shift in that time.  :D

Making taco soup for dinner.
Crocheting.
Picked up the new lenses for my glasses (since they messed up the first time around).
Praying for miracles.
More crocheting.
That's pretty much all.

You always say you are making Taco soup and I still haven't got any.  :sadbounce:

If it's for me why haven't I got to eat any yet?  :cry2:

What a coincidence.  I'm currently arguing with Windows 7 startup.  No I do not want Norton to run a 30 day trial.  Yes I am certain.  Yes I  am sure I am certain.  No I do not want Windows Defender.  Yes I am certain.  Yes I am sure I am certain.  Yes I am positive I am sure I am certain and why do you keep asking me over and over again?

Bleh.  I'd forgotten how pushy some of this OEM junk is.  You can eventually get it to accept a no, but it takes a few "are you sure?" rounds.

*laugh* Oh, the tragedy. ;) Come on by! There's plenty left. :) I made so much even D and K couldn't finish it off.

I'm not sure that Taco would taste good in any recipe...  In fact I highly doubt it! He's a tough old bird! Lol
