Hi. Another day closer to a weekend....a weekend that already is not mine again. Got a funeral to officiate Saturday... Sunday church; not sure about Monday. Then next weekend Bro Walter and Saturday and Sunday services... and the following week Bro Proctor. Didn't really plan that but Bro Proctor I had to take when I could get him.
All this and in the middle of building still....sheesh. So thankful for the people I have. They are givers and have the vision. Now if I could get a few more in the boat I'd be in tall cotton. :biglaugh:

Speaking from a yard where the grass is burnt, I don't mind no rain. It will be back next year and I have already mowed it enough this year.

Tooth pain.. and of course the dentist isn't open today. Ugh.. lol. Hoping this will calm down until I can get in next week.

Lynx

It never fails. My sympathy Nelle.

If it gets too bad take an antibiotic. Those walk-in clinics will prescribe you one for tooth pain, from what I've heard. It's a temporary fix, but it'll get you through it. Kills the things that are chewing on the tooth nerve, y'know.

Thank you. I ended up going on Saturday morning to the walk-in clinic near my house. My cheek/jaw was swollen, but at least the tooth pain had chilled for a bit. I'm on an antibiotic for 7 days. I called my dentist this morning and have an appointment for tomorrow afternoon to see what's going on and what we're goin to do about it.

MsJennJenn

Tooth pain is the literal worst. Like why does every single part of us have to fall apart.

Days off with Mom and Dad were fun. It really stunk to have to come back to work today lol.
Mom is like an energizer bunny on steroids. She does NOT stop. Idk where she finds the energy. She does not do well with sitting still or silence lol.

I'm so thankful that while this cheek situation is weird - I haven't really had much pain since it transitioned to my cheek from my tooth LOL. I had my appointment at the dentist today and they have no clue which tooth it is. So I have been referred to the endo for more looking. Hopefully Jeremy can get the insurance back in force so I can go asap to them next week.

Lynx

I just wonder... If you wear roller skates to a walk-in clinic will they kick you out? Or will they let you in if you agree to pick your feet up and do the motions of walking?

Shew Lord. Hi, ya'll.
So- revival was this week. My brother Daniel Walter drove 16 hours to minister to a little congregation that so desperately needed what he had to say..
And Lord a mighty what a set of services. Had two filled with the Holy Ghost, several renewed including my sweet little Grumpy Bear, and her new (boy)friend received a prophetic word that answered a question he had asked God....and had the Mayor of our city in church with his hands raised praying. A neighboring pastor that I've wanted to meet but due to past issues between previous pastors on both sides I had been afraid to  came and with clicked. Really clicked as in immediate brotherhood and we are looking at ways to support one another and fellowship each other more often.
Bro Walter told me " Man I love seeing all the new faces as opposed to last year, and look at the worship!"
He's already got us on schedule for next year... my lord in heaven.
My heart is full. My bank account not so much, but I know who has the cattle on a thousand hills, and cattle prices are high. :laughhard:

That's wonderful!

Jeremy's back home from his latest trip. He brought home COVID with him. So there's that..

I'll be pulling shifts on the couch in an attempt to NOT get COVID again. Thankfully I have a month before I go see my parents, so we should hopefully be healthy by then.

Tabby (our cat) is having eyesight issues again. He's taking her to the vet today at 2pm for me. One perk to him still being off work at least! Hopefully they can give her another steroid shot and make sure nothing else is going on with her. Just want to make sure her last years on earth are comfortable as we can help her be.

Athena had a blast on her trip. Ate whatever animal pooped near her and blessed everyone with that gift. LOL. Thankfully she's on the mend.

I was late to work this morning because Jeremy was comped a hotel room by the VA for the COVID thing. Tabby walked into her water fountain and I couldn't trust her alone. Felt like a blind, drunk toddler was living with me. I listened to birds chirping on my apple music that I had originally pulled up for her to listen to. It was calming all the way to work combined with the sun peeking through the clouds.

Roscoe

Made it through the day. Wanted to go home and rest, work on the bible study for tomorrow- but nay, I needed to go deal with church business. Just got home around 930. Gonna be a long day tomorrow

Feeling a little under the weather. Hoping I can stay away from having COVID this time at least.. trying! So many other sicknesses going around this time of year too.

It's a rainy, cold day here. Glad I'm inside and FINALLY getting to wear a sweatshirt!

Shew, lord. Sunday Bro John Proctor preached for me. Had a lady in our church that had received the holy ghost but not yet baptized come running from the altar to me stating she had to be baptized NOW. We had water in the tank so I went around and down the steps she came in her nice dress...I asked if she had any more clothes and she said No, and down the steps she came anyway. I baptized her and she came up shouting and speaking in tongues and about splashed all the water out of the tank. Her husband was kind enough to go home and get clothes. IT got better from there, had a 18-year-old pray through to the Holy Ghost and many claiming a touch.
Next week they going to throw rocks at me the kind of preaching they've gotten used to. :laughhard:
I gotta go back to work tomorrow. Boo.

I'm here. Still unemployed.

Dad got his second fake foot last week and is making great strides, and soon will be making great strides literally. He has now got his feet back under him and soon he will be back on his feet again.

I've had a lot of time to come up with foot jokes.

For a while he didn't have a leg to stand on. He had one foot in the grave, then he had both of them in the grave! But now he's got a leg up on the situation. Soon he'll be standing tall.

And soon I will call my boss and schedule my return to work.

Progress, Lynx!

Awesome, Roscoe!

I wasn't able to avoid getting covid unfortunately. BUT - after a few days confined to my home, I'm back at work. I still feel like I have a bit of a sinus infection (my symptoms the whole time), but overall I do feel like I'm on the road back to well. I'm using a mask when I step away from my desk. We already are somewhat spaced out in our offices anyway, so it's nice that I can come back.

Roscoe

Shew. This week has assaulted me. Sinus mess....hurting hip...and general grumpiness because of it. The devil trying to stir up things...

At least I'm not the only one.

My sinuses have been tore up from the floor up for the last 2 weeks. Not a cold, not covid, not because I ate cheese because I've been trying to avoid dairy the last two weeks. Just sinus crud.

The advent of fall didn't used to tear up my sinuses like it does so many other people. But now apparently it does. I guess I'm getting old.

Oh well. I'm glad I made it to 48 before it started happening.

I think the normal seasonal patterns are completely out of wack everywhere. So could be fall. Who knows.

Another Monday back to work. Sigh. I wish I was a house wife.  :laughhard:
