Morning all. Didn't get my drive in the antiques...rain began to happen.  I can't believe I'm saying this in July, but I'm over rain.
Back at work to discover one of my assigned morons- I have clients who make a mistake but are trying, and then I have utter idiots, this one falling in the latter category- has committed her second set of felonious acts in two weeks. I would bet should she see me again,  she will claim the arrest is someone else's fault. It's never her fault. I try to be compassionate and see folks like Jesus does- but this one I am struggling with a vison problem in that regard.
And finally, although I feel decent this morning my sinuses are raw. I've never had sinus issues this late in the season. :pound:
Oh, and Isaac, I realized I never answered your question regarding the Miata- standard window sealant. The window just fell right out. No idea how hot it actually was, but Lou did have the car parked on the east side of the bank in direct sunlight...
Hope y'all have a fantastic day.

Quote from: Roscoe on July 21, 2024, 09:31:01 PMGuys, I do not know why I feel so drained and unwell lately. I need God to move for me. I can't claim illness or anything- just totally wiped out physically if that makes sense.

If only one had 900 sick hours to utilize a rest day.  :thumbsup2:

Vacation over. Sigh. We didn't do much. It was nice to have Mom and Dad here too.
Dad loves Dr Pepper Cherry Zero. And they can't find it in Indiana. He found it here lol and bout 10 2-liters. But he left them in the hot car..... sooo guess what exploded on our last trip back to the house LOL (only 1 thankfully).

We took a "sunset cruise" on Lake Murray - that was soooo nice and beautiful.
Back to work today and already caught up thankfully my jobs still super slow.
It's my birthday! I dislike being a year from 40. :noo:

The 900 hours....yeah. But lord, it inconveniences so many when I take off, because I work late. Someone has to cover the late shift. I feel guilty when I take off...LOL

And happy birfday! This Saturday my sweet Bug, Grumpy Bear, will be grown up...18. I'm totally not vibing on that.
And then two weeks later- I hit 48. Only two years from half a century. How on earth did that happen?!?!?

YES! Good MORNING y'all!

Today is Wednesday. As my days off are Wednesday and Sunday, today is one of the two very good mornings in the week.

I think I'd die having split days off.  :laughhard:

Today is being very slow indeed.

I like it because I only have to w*rk two days and three days at a time.

Thursdays are the worst. I have to go three whole days before I can look forward to a day off.

The only downside is sometimes I can't remember if it's Monday or Thursday. I know I just had a day off, but am I going to have to w*rk only two, or a whole three days this time? (Wait, yesterday we had church in the evening, not in the morning... Rats, it's Thursday!)

Today is one of my days off. Went to a funeral viewing this morning for a coworker that passed away from copd and lung cancer.

Went out checking for garage sales but only found a couple cause we have drizzling rain again today.
I went by the office to renew the tags for our trailer and (for the second time that I tried) I couldn't get them because the internet was down. That was two Fridays in a row. Kinda aggravating.

For me its working through the weekend. I've got a long day tomorrow. I'm scheduled for my usual 7-4 shift at Walmart. I'm also scheduled to run ProPresenter for a memorial service at 11 AM at the church.  I'll be taking a long lunch to do the memorial service and then working longer in the evening at Walmart to make up the time.

Roscoe

Shew. Last night I had to people way too much. Then today a shopping trip. Tomorrow church. Monday= ME DAY. :laughhard:

We had Chel's rugrats today while they were out at the "you pull it" junkyard.
At least they were good. ;)

Lynx

We call it a pull-apart junkyard. If I knew anything about cars I'd love those places.

Did they get what they needed?

Partly. But they also were looking for a motor for a Toyota car and didn't find what they needed.

Roscoe

U-pull it can be awesome, but around here it is mostly newer cars, which doesn't help car nuts like me as much.
So-yesterday, day with Chey shopping and celebrating her day. Spent way too much.  Today- spent all day at church, preached, felt like I ran a marathon, and now I'm home. Tomorrow a few errands to run after all, not as much a "me" day as I planned. :pound:

Newer cars like before the 50s? Or newer cars like before 2000? With your proclivities it's hard to tell.

Newer cars like 2000 up. Jelly beans. Boremobiles. Vehicles that are "normal"- ugh.

Morning all. ONE day I try to be upbeat and happy in the morning- one day- what happens? My boss "Man, you are chipper and happy. You ok?" Jerm texts "Good morning". I respond "Good Morning!!"
He responds- You've been hacked.
Bah.  :pound:  :pound:  :pound:  :pound:
It has been insane for me the last few days. I'm still blessed beyond measure.

Fighting with software this morning. This one is supposed to talk to that one, but even though this one is supposedly connected to that one, it's refusing to talk to that one. Bah humbug.

Boys are playing out in the dirt. This is the first day in nearly forever (okay, maybe two weeks) that they've been able to, because the smoke finally lifted enough to be safe this morning.

Bella is making felted wool animals that she plans to sell to make some money. It's sometimes hard to earn spending money when you're 11. Lol. I told her I'd post them on my facebook profile for her when she's ready to list them.

Making graphics for clients in Canva while I wait for a response from the helpdesk about the stupid software.
