On the bright side, at least YOU aren't having to file bankruptcy. Your glass is officially half full.

In local news, I'm thinking about going down to the shelter and getting a dog today.

"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

I support this!

Some day, I want to get another German Shepherd puppy.

MsJennJenn

I want a dog period. Sigh. :sadbounce:
Just don't want to have one in an apartment.

Afraid of getting a cat. Cus of smell. Or being allergic to it. I'm unsure.

A cat is what I would rather get, but only if I can let it inside when it gets cold. I will not have an outdoor only cat that I have to worry about curling up on the car engine when it gets cold outside.

Actually I'm going to look at the dogs today. I probably won't get one until Thursday, because I won't have a lot of time to spend with it if I take it home today. Delivering and departing is not the way to bring home a dog.

Well...my cell phone died today. :sadbounce: I was bummed out, until I stopped by the At&t store on the way home.   I got two new Galaxy S4 Active smartphones, (one for Lou and one for me), changed our plan for the better, doubling our meager data limits, and lowered our bill by around $20 a month. I am pleased. Only thing that makes me unhappy is, I had two videos of Cheyenne dancing at about 13 months old, right after she began walking good, on my phone. I've faithfully transfered them from phone to phone...this time, somehow, they didn't transfer and the old phone is wiped clean. :sadbounce: I wanted those videos!

Was actually put into contact today with a girl i've actually met before. She's looking for a roommate at a townhouse about a mile from campus. We are meeting up tomorrow to just talk and look at the townhouse.

Brandon has agreed to counseling but we'll see if he'll actually go through it with me. Also his mom's car has now supposedly went ka-poot so she's hanging at their house a lot. I'm sure it has nothing to do with Mike wanting to file for divorce......

Good grief. Now that I'm caught up on sharing, it sounds like everyone else's life is as bizarre and out of control as mine.  :-\ I was hoping for way better for you. Just so you know.

In the space of the last week, my parents' heater went out twice, their van broke down (with a large repair job), and today they had a pipe burst. I have NEVER heard my mom sound like she did on the phone when she called me. She sounded completely hysterical, and I couldn't even understand what she was saying at first. When I finally caught that a pipe had burst and there was water everywhere, and no one else was home (Dad and Kaitlyn were out of town today, taking Trenton and Ipo back to PDX to fly home, and David was at work) I said "okay, we're on the way" and we all grabbed boots, the baby, and the diaper bag, and jumped in the van. So. All four of us spent the afternoon helping mom clean up a flood. It was insane. I'm really thankful she was home when it happened, because it could have been WAY worse than it was. But even so...... well, I'm hoping God really IS in control of everything, 'cause right now life feels completely OUT of control. Anyhow.

I won't even go into the rest of it.

I'm so tired.

*tight hugs for Heather and Mel* I'm praying for both of you!

You didn't ever email them to anyone?
No. Not that I remember...:sadbounce:. Back at work...one day closer to the weekend. One day closer to December 25- Christmas, and most importantly, the beginning of nine days off for me.

Andrea is super cool. A bit odd, but so am I. It looks like I will be moving in at the end of December. It's a very reasonable commute to school [I could walk or ride my bike]. Also my boss told me today if I move there [about 45 minutes from work] I could put my name out there to transfer to one of our sister clinics and he would graciously let me go.

Had dinner with Brandon [I didn't ask where he got the money from]. We talked out a few things. He has agreed to counseling but it'll have to wait until I get moved and school starts back up that way we are set in a schedule to work in.

Oh and it's gonna get down to 18* here tonight.

New med sucked the life out of me today. Literally had moments blinking felt like to much work. So far no help with the headaches, so I may not take this long.

Bobby if it's above 0 degrees F then it's not really cold.

Here it's finally, FINALLY beginning to feel like winter.

Ice is finally dissipating enough that even the bridges are going faster. THANK the LORD. Took me almost 2 hours to get to work yesterday...not because of the roads, they were and still are very clear & dry, but because of drivers and the bridges.

Today it only took about 45 minutes or closer to an hour maybe? Ugh - never thought I'd say this but I miss my normal 30 minute commute.
