@Heather: Still a ton of people in this area without power. Main transmission lines across the mountains are still down that feed some areas. They are saying that it will be this weekend before they think all power will be restored.

I could really use y'alls prayers. Dealing with multiple extremely stressful situations right now. I need God to help me and take care of some of these things. Thanks in advance.

i'm a cranky pants tonight.

went to sweet frog which is an amazing frozen yogurt place. it's quite a few different flavors of yogurt and just about any topping you can choose. then we stopped at walmart and the fireworks tent that Restoration's daughter church is running.

so glad for a day off tomorrow

I ended up going to bed at 7:30, woke up at about 1, stayed up awhile, and then slep the rest of the time till 7am.


Dad wants to go to breakfast and go to the pawn shop and get this pressure cleaner he saw, and then later I'm cleaning the church and headed to the beach for the fireworks show.

'tis a hot but beautiful day.......too hot to grill out or do much of anything. Enjoyed a cruise to town in the corvette, with the air blasting on high. Neighbor has invited us over for a cookout and pool party, but I'm paranoid about crowds and VERY uncomfortable around people I don't know. :-\ Chey and Lou will probably go over, and let Chey swim. I will probably invent an excuse not to go and retreat to my shop, or, if too hot, my recliner...
I know that is weird, but while I can talk to anyone, social events make me feel trapped and claustrophobic. Lou says I'm weird. She's probably right. :biglaugh:

Oh, and for those keeping record of my ailments, my lip is swollen and sore now. I look like someone socked me in the lip.

Not to mention the whelps that are still covering my body and the ITCHING.

Apply skin moisturizer much more often than you think you need to.

I can completely relate Roscoe, it's not weird at all.  Nathan is easy going at all times so he evens me out.  He is actually the social butterfly.  I enjoy feeding people and I spend most my time in the kitchen while Nathan hosts. 

Mel, just think of it as free botox.   :P

I was told by several friends that saw me, to go to the ER. Thank God that we didn't wait so long as I had to wait with Dad on Sunday. I was in and out, treated and released in less than an hour. I was told I have sun poisoning and a serious allergic reaction due to too much sun. I'm now on steroids and a couple of other things and I'm gonna be fine in a few days. Hopefully.
