Nathan made me a raised garden bed last night!  Now, if I could only find some non GMO tomato plants.  I'm so excited!

Grocery day, BonVoyage party tonight. Have a great day to all of you!

The Purple Fuzzy

I could send you some seeds but it's probably a little late for this year to start from scratch.

Melody

Yeah, but thank you so much for the thought. Sweet of you.  :)

Morning.  :hi: Chey and I have been up and about since 7-ish. We've got her donut holes, fished for an hour or so, went by the bank, and now we are at the library. Our transportation is, of course, the Rusty ol' truck. It is gonna be HOT- it is around 95 or so now. :o I plan on going home and sitting in the air...

Morning!

Kimber...or actually Kimbers Sister, gave us a HUGE zucchini last week and I have been trying to decide what to do with it. Well, I'm gonna cut it in half, stew half of it with onions and freeze it, and the other half I found a recipe for the zucchini, corn, sliced tomatoes and Parmesan cheese all baked into a casserole type dish. I'm gonna add onions to the recipe, and prolly top it with shredded cheese. I'm also making cube steak with mushroom gravy, and mashed taters to go with it...and maybe I'll bake a cake. Hmmm.

Right now I'm cleaning the kitchen and washing clothes. It is going to be a great day today!
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

I need to look up some zuchinni and squash recipes....  :smirk2:

I've tended cows, tended fowls, eating a RBP.

Need to go to the grocery store and such...bleh.  It's hot as the blue blazes.

The Purple Fuzzy

My squash didn't do anything.  Wish I had some, my husband is craving it.

Lynx

Come on over, we have plenty of squash.  Uncle Fred's garden is putting out more than he can handle.  Naturally we are happy to help with the overflow. :D

I got up at noon.  We've been working overtime at the factory, and as a result of my dentist visit yesterday I was already tired before I started work.  Pain will do that.  Thank you God I made it through the day yesterday without passing out.  A couple times I thought I would in fact pass out.

And what about me?  What are you sorry to me about?

I'm sorry you had to feed such a cute little calf. ;)

Chseeads

Everything is always cute when it's little before it becomes a man eating killer of some sort.  :smirk2:

Went to town...feedstore for corn and grocery store.

Car showed temps as high as 109 during my trip.  Bleh.

The Purple Fuzzy

We had a hummingbird stunned in the greenhouse.  Chel picked it up and gave it a drink.

Starting to feel better, Thank GOD! Having some issues with Social Security I have to deal with Monday. (Prayers for this to go smoothly appreciated!) Going to try and get the van checked out tomorrow, it has a short somewhere in the steering column. Praying for a cheap repair.

Crazy wind storm tonight. Made me think of a hurricane.

I just now got home from work.  o.O  Today... er, yesterday I walked in the door at work and the second shift boss asked how would I feel about staying until 4am?

Oops, didn't mean to give the impression I had a toothache.  This was just another drill-n-fill.  The pain came from the needle, and from the drill when we found out the tooth was not numb yet.  It seems in some few people a nerve swings down through the mandible and picks up nerve signals it ought to be leaving alone.  Dentist popped that nerve too, and all was well.

Well. I am alive. The sunburn has subsided to a dull pain that is tolerable. I don't even notice it unless I bump my arm or move too suddenly. If I am completely still, it goes away completely with no pain at all, which is a far cry better than the last few days.

We have a car wash today. I am overdressed for the occasion, with a white long sleeved shirt, under my other blue shirt, an ankle leanth skirt, socks, tennis shoes, baseball cap and sunglasses. But with my recent battle with the sun, I am determined NOT to be exposed today. My skin is too raw for sunscreen yet, so although it will be a bit warm today, I'll just keep covered.

I'm at McDs right now. Had a biscuit and coffee after dropping dad off at dialysis.

Sill have an hour till time to meet my group.

Morning.
:hi: Lord. I think I shall do nothing of any value today. Mainly because it is still boiling hot. Thank you, Lord, for giving the inventor of air conditioning the intelligence to invent it. Without it, I would be a sniveling basket case....   :biglaugh: Which makes me wonder- for the vast majority of my younger life, my family did not have air conditioning, just old box fans. How in the world did I survive?!?
