Did anyone notice the officer termed it her "kind offer." Just WHO needs interrogated?

I made the Sunday morning Shoney's buffet in Vicksbhurg (they do breakfast later in the day than I am accustomed to,) and had a waitress invite me to come see her at her second job, a strip club on the Louisiana side of the border. First time I've ever had something like that said to me.

She was looking for tips and lots of them.....

Please, dear God, let it rainnnnnnnn......  It keeps going all around us.  There's a chance of it increasing into the afternoon and early evening.....Pleeeeeeease oh Lord.....
Anyone else notice that Sir John neglected to tell us if he took her up on her kind offer? :eyebrow:

And Cheesehead, I feel ya pain. It is REALLY dry here. Our farmers are already feeding hay.....that is not good. Hello, higher beef prices...

I think I will start working on a soundtrack for Chris Rice's "Clumsy."
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

Well I've had the chords, fiddled with the song and have the virtual "guitar" to do it right, all for more than half a year now.  About time I got started actually doing something with it.

Sir Newshound, I termed it "kind offer" since if it had been unkind, mean and cruel, you'd not be her to tell about it. You'd be at the show... :biglaugh:

Morning all. I had forgotten how hard it is to force yourself to go back to work after a week off..... :hi:

When people become offended that they're not getting the HG I'm going to have this verse ready.  We know there are all kind of things that can hinder a person when they're seeking the HG. This could be one.

Morning.  I'm at home.  But when you get to go home I'll just then be going to work, so I guess that's a fair trade.

I believe I have mentioned all the CDs and cassettes I picked up at thrift stores last Friday.  With my job production is determined by what comes down the furnace line, not how fast *I* work, so as long as I keep up with what comes down the line I can fiddle with other stuff.  When I have a new batch of music to sort through I have a habit of bringing a CD player and sorting through it at work.

I said all that to say this:  Monday gonna be a fun day at work.  :D

Roscoe we know what you meant.  But that one was just too good to pass up.  Even I would have said something like that if he hadn't caught it first.   :biglaugh:

I don't know but I am trying to remember... John has said he is doing a lot more exercising.  Walking, dancing... He even complained awhile back about leg pain.  Heels can do a number on legs.

Well I had a much needed day off today. Back to the grind at four thirty in the morning.

^^^^Ditto that.

Dad didn't have any appointments or anywhere to be at all today, so I was permitted to sleep till 7:30, and really didn't DO much of anything today except load the dishwasher. I was able to take a nap as well. It was lovely. Tomorrow my day starts at 4 and we are going strong all day. Dialysis, and I'm gonna try to make a funeral viewing, then pick him up and go get fitted for a diabetic shoe. Then I don't know what all else.

But today sure was nice. It was the very first day in over 6 weeks that I didn't have to go or do anything. That was lovely. :bigcheese:
