Tonight is my church Men's Wild Meat Supper.  Yum!  Boss said I could take lunch break early to go.  My church is just right across from the factory so not much time lost in transit. 

My boss also said he won't be there, as he still remembers the last time he went and chipped a tooth when he bit down on a bit of shotgun pellet.  Well... we had to get them critters some way.

I need an opinion, and sometimes when I come here I get three or five.

Do you ever get a hunch or a feeling about something but have no solid proof? Just that gut feeling that something is amiss..and how often is your guts right?

I did just about daily when I worked as a street cop. And about 95% of the time they were proven right. I listen to my gut. In fact, I recently backed out of a deal that looked to be very financially wise for me, because of my gut feeling. I can't recall a single time that it would've been better for me to ignore it....

I for one don't trust my gut, as I have little common sense to feed that instinct.  "Gut instinct" is just applied common sense, spurred by clues you don't consciously notice but somewhere in the back of your head your brain knows they are important. 

But since I became a christian I notice I have a feeling, kind of like a low-level spiritual radar, that takes the place of it.  :shrug:  Go with what works I guess.  The bible does say that if anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask God for some.

Church cleaned, dark chocolate cupcakes downed, sipping some amaretto creamed tea.  I have no idea what to make for dinner before church.  Kinda don't feel like cooking. 

Joined Pinterest.  So many fun things to look at!  I'm going to try my hand at making a faded dress shirt of Nathan's into a dress for Hannah.  I did not realize all the knitting things there are.  Almost put in a request order to Ruby...

 Made it through the day. Chey's feeling better. I don't remember if I posted it or not, but she had a fever and was a sick little girl when Daddy left for work this morning.
And on the way home, I received a call from my pastor asking if I could take care of tomorrow night's service. As a result, I won't be on here as much tonight as usual, I suspect.

I finally was able to er out of the house. Dad had been saying since yesterday they we did not have gas money for us to go ANYWHERE today, so I stayed home and cooked a good dinner, then he said he wanted me to go to the Post office and WM. so here I am in WM at Mcds using the Internet. Yay!

I got Melodyas card and a birthday card from the church today.
