What's wrong, Lady BeccaBoo? Are you jealous of Seth's missing Lady Mel?

Well, don't everybody post at once.   :smirk2: I woke up to a sunny beautiful day- but the wind is blowing very hard.  :sing: The wind is blowing again, the wnd is blowing again. Just like the day of Pentecost, the wind is blowing again.. :sing: Now that's stuck in my mental jukebox.  :noo:

Today is a very special day. Eight years ago today, Lou made the best decision of her life. She married me.  :hypocrite: And now, completely out of my smug, concieted character, I'll admit that it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I thank God for the wonderful Godly wife I've been blessed with, and I look forward to tormenting her for many more years.

Gonna get up and wander to town- if the wind doesn't blow me east. Chey and I might wind up at Mel's, the way this wind is blowing.  :biglaugh:

Boy, could you imagine the smell if she did? All that burning hair/fuzz.... :teeth: Seriously, PF, if it gets to bad, you and Bro. Clarence are welcome to retreat to God's country, aka Arkansas. We've got a guest room..... Hickory Hammers are NOT invited.  :laughhard:

It is so cool here, I literally have butterflies in my stomach for autumn holiday nostalia. :)

God's good. Wish Nathan didn't have to work today.

Literally have butterflies in your stomach.....  Well how'd those get in there?  Were they seeking a warm place in the cold?

:hi:  We had Talia's birthday party at my mom's.  Fires are still burning in places.  On the way to mom's the road we were on had burned on both sides with some small fires still going.

Too windy to grill, so I threw a ham in the oven garnished with brown sugar, pineapples and cherries, got some tator salad- I was too lazy to make my own- and have now got a Carmal Apple Cheesecake baking. Gonna eat gooood tonight.  :fork:

And unrelated to all that- I would appreciate prayers. Mama's in the hospital- minor issues I believe- but with Alzheimer patients you never know. And worse I have potential family issues in relation to this...... Thanks.

With a caramel apple cheesecake, who has room for chocolate pudding, however rich it might be?

Dude- chocolate is it's own food group around me. There's ALWAYS room for chocolate pudding, although I will admit that cheesecake is a close second for me, and this one has the whole house smelling awesome. I just wish I'd had some homemade pie filling instead of the canned stuff.
And now, I sound like a gossiping housewife.  They're gonna revoke my man-card, between the miata and cooking.  :laughhard:

Me...and because I made it, I needed to eat it....and there probably wasn't anything any better....and it sounded good up front.....but it was not.
