I am almost back to normal. Well, as normal as I get. Thank you all for your encouragement. I have decided that if I ever get married and decide to have a baby if it's a girl I will name her Melody, because there are THREE great people named Melody in my life!
I'm just me, round and bubbly like a lil honey bee!

SHARING:  We keep having to work Saturdays at work so I got desperate and decided to make a batch of bread today.  It is possible if I mix up the dough and knead it right after morning service, knead it again and put it in pans before night service and bake it after night service.  So right now I'm baking some bread.  It sure is hectic trying to get everything done in time but it works.

And mmmm-MMM!  I can smell the sourdough already.  Wish it was already done so I could get a slice.
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

Here's to the chigger
That ain't no bigger
Than the point of an ordinary pin

But the bump that it raises
Itches like the blazes
And that's where the rub comes in
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

Ha!

Wouldn't be the first time that someone named their baby girl after me! Jennie, who was a GPer once upon a time too, named her first Daughter Melody Rose. All because of meeee!

And Seth...shuddup.

Halo: I'm beginning to think the spiritual is definitely the reason behind mine. I began questioning if God REALLY cared that I was struggling so badly..and while my answers haven't all come yet, I - know- He does. I'd been struggling spiritually some too. Tonight's service was exactly what I needed to encourage me to just leave it in His hands.

I did go to AutoZone. They gave me their diagnosis. I've gotta call tomorrow for an appointment with Hyundai service center and see if they'll reset my car's computer. Looks like it MIGHT have just been my gas cap. Super weird. I never ever don't screw it back on..and it was definitely NOT screwed in today when I checked. Cause mom had this happen around the same mileage on her car. And the gas cap being off can make your light come on. Weird too cause I only get gas once a week..so it was already a week today since the last fill up! I'm going believing that's all it is!

Chseeads

Mel-Mel, what are you shuddupping at me about?  I said nary the first word.  :P

:hypocrite:

Cause you didn't give me time to.

MelodyB

Uh huh. That's why.

I know what you were thinking...I was just forewarning you.

Lady Melodya,

You were being discussed by two people in chat late last night. One party was describing to the other party that giving you a hard time was a sign of appreciation/depreciation, as the second party had wondered why you would be given a hard time, maintaining you and Nathan are nice.

Isn't that a wonderfuly specific relating of a conversation? :)

Thanks Mini!

There's black cohosh there on the bottom, but something interesting...  The last time I seen my Dr. she flipped her monitor around so I could see the medical research library or something to that effect and there were like 3500 studies going on right now about it.  She said that means they're about to come out with a "suppliment."  And what does it do?  It's a natural plant that helps keep a woman's hormone balance.  ie: breast, ...etc. cancer preventative.

The government tells us what they can profit by, that's it.  The FDA especially is a joke.

Nelle, before you spend money getting them to reset your computer, try this-  Disconnect the battery on your car and let it sit for 20 minutes or so. Reconnect it, crank it up, and drive happy without a light. :waving:

Yep, that works most of the time too.  Sometimes, if its a gas cap issue, it will go away by itself too.

Mornin!

Please add a good friend of mine to your prayers! He's like a brother to me! He is having emergency surgery to unblock his small intestine. He had a kidney transplant not too too long ago and is having complications! So pray! Please, for him and his wonderful family!

ISG is back to herself. Thank you to all the wonderful GPers that helped me through my weekend. Melb for the phone calls and persistence it talking me through it. Melodya for the wonderful PM that actually made me cry. And everyone else who said so many encouraging words. Also my WONDERFUL church family who could see I was hurting even when I was holding back my tears...

I'm afraid to mess with this car while it's still supposed to be under warranty. Hopefully that's still the case too! I'm gonna let them do it in case a gas cap was only the minor issue. Want Ellie in near-perfct running condition! Haha..

LOL  oh Lordy...   beautifully articulated John.

That is so sweet of this anonymous individual.  For the record: Nathan is the sweetest, most kindest giant you'll ever meet.

Howdy y'all.  Sourdough bread turned out well, and tastes very good with a little butter and agave nectar.   :thumbsup2:

Gone to piano lesson in a bit.  This teacher doesn't waste time, she was having me play in different keys last time.

Hi again, I'm becoming a non-lurker at this rate. Actually, I have 2 assignments due in the next 2 weeks and I'm procrastinating. Hence I thought I'd resurrect my old GP membership ;)
