* Babs prays for taco

:headrub: sometimes you just gota let it go and walk away. i have had to let all my family go and just walk away. slowly God is bringing some of them back, but once i put them in his hands, this time its not as bad, i prayed for help to learn to set and stand by boundaries. not working perfect but better, but alas only two family members to deal with right now lol
Religion is worthless until it is able to move outside the walls.

I'm sorry, Jason. :-( I hate that kind of stuff. And it's ten times worse when it's someone in your own family. Praying God gives you wisdom in how to handle it, and grace and strength for today.

Anybody want scalloped potatoes for dinner? C'mon over. :) Jason (no, not THAT Jason... MY Jason! *grin*) helped me put it all in the crockpot. So if it isn't edible... it's his fault. ;)

I've never made homemade scalloped potatoes, how do you do it?
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

There are lots of recipes out there, but the one we typically do has sliced potatoes, chunks of ham, onions, a can of cream of mushroom (or celery) soup, cheese, and a dash of salt and pepper. It's easy - and more importantly - YUMMY. :)

Taco, that is a hard test of grace and mercy right there.  Praying for your situation.

I make mine sliced potatoes, and cream, bake on 300° for an hour. They come out perfect everytime.  Sometimes I've used ranch seasoning, sometimes rosemary, sometimes just salt and pepper.  I've done it as a caserole by adding ham, chopped corn, cheese and/or broccolli the last 5 min.

Ya big oaf, you're just jealous that all those fried pies found their way to ME not you. I believe coveting my fried pies is a sin. :laughhard:

To give the back story on my fried pies, one of our representatives brought ten boxes of assorted fried pies- chocolate, apple, blueberry, peach, ect- from a little pastry shop in her district. Probably the best I've ever eaten.  I *might*  have sent a picture of them to Mini via text, but I can't be blamed- I was nearly comatose from eating one of those choclate pies and chasing it with a chocolate milk. My sugar was probably through the roof, but I've never had a problem with sugar, so all's good. :lol:
