Woke up to my yard being mowed. About time too. The guy who does it usually only mows once a month but with all the rain we've had it was getting ridiculous. I keep hearing his mower bottom out it was that bad. Granted I shouldn't complain because I don't pay for his service, my landlady does.

Also didn't wake up choking. 1st time in 4 days. I'll take the small victories.

Off to the church soon.

Dropped my programing class today. I start it again in June, but I have a few people who have already taken the class to help me prepare for it this time. The instructor was awful when it came to help and answering simple questions. Maybe next time I will get someone different


Went with my Mom to get the heart test done. They had to send it out of town to a cardiologist, so it will probably be Thursday or next week before she knows the results.

Deal of the day 2: Some great 2liter bottles of Sparkling Lemonade (In various flavors) I really like for $0.25 a piece at Wal-Mart today. The  clearance merchandise is one of Wal-Marts redeeming factors. lol

I love my church family. Sis Ketron (pastors wife) came by and picked me up from the church to take me to lunch. I'll probably be here all day. Paint is done. Carpet is pulled. Going to get a machine to take up tile.

Was hammering nails while ago, and realized that the tap tap tapping I was doing to try to get them started was basically to the tune of the opening beats of the Dolly Parton classic 9 to 5. 



This old fencepost was straight yesterday, until a drunk man tried to back his van down our driveway and ran off into it.

 Wow.  The devil is trying to take me out I think...lol my life is feeling both great & trouble @the same time.  My computer crashed, my phone quit, our downstairs bathroom ceiling started leaking, Nathan's work has been slow. parenting issues have come up, & a few special unspokens. BOL

But thank God winter is over! Not missing Iowa though, they just had like 11 tornados.

However church has been exceptional, I even was given a word from God. My sister w/the twins is really working on her family, my marine sister it growing in God. Although I lack actual talent, I am absolutely loving being a part of the worship team, probably because im already passionate about worship.

I got a new phone so I can't post as much. This post is taking forever to "swype" on my touch pad. But I wanted to tag in & say GOD IS GOOD & ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD!

It doesn't always mean as much to say it when things are all hunky dorey.

It ain't Calgon kid. 

Actually that stuff doesn't work.  I walked into w*rk one day and the main boss was on a rampage.  One of the assistant managers said softly, "Calgon, calgon!"  I said, "What?"  She said, "Calgon, take her away!"  But it didn't.

Speaking of w*rk, while I was gone to w*rk today my former workplace called.  This place where I used to work is a factory and it was the best job I've ever had.  They actually took care of the employees, paid well and listened to employee ideas about how to do the job better.  When the economy tanked they went from more than 200 employees to less than 20 and I lost a much needed job. 

The reason they called is because they want me to come back!   

I'll be talking to God about this tonight, fer sure.  I'd appreciate any prayers from anyone for guidance for Isaac.

  In sharing- I'm really bummed out. There was a 121 year old historic bridge about 3 miles from our house that Chey and I would take rusty the '46 over weekly, often driving out of the way to cross it. It was a cool old steel span single lane bridge with a wooden floor and was so picturesque. I'd had photos made with rusty and Chey on it, and had plans to have some more pics made. This morning, an idiot driving a big truck weighing about 9 tons decided that he would drive over it, ignoring the sign that said "3 ton weight limit". The bridge collapsed and is scrap now. The driver and truck that murdered it were, of course, unharmed, primarily because my four year old and myself weren't there.
   Chey began crying when she found out about it and told me to find the driver and lock him up for a hundred weeks.

Started cleaning out the bean crib some while it was raining.....  Then worked more on the shed/pen/whatever it is after it pretty much stopped.

Just ate some supper.  Gotta go finish tending fowl in a bit.

Bean crib?  Is that why you eat so many black bean platters, you have a whole crib full of the things?

Went to church, came home.  Debating with myself over whether or not I should eat a piece of chocolate ding-dong cake this late at night.  I say I shouldn't, but myself is making some pretty good arguments...

Basically now it's just a shed, but we still call it the bean crib, cause that's what it was years ago.

Tile is all up. My hands hurt from pulling carpet.

We're under a tornado watch until 3 am. Apparently we had one the next town over on Saturday (Isaac- in Johnson City actually near the campus and the VA if your familiar with it) Generally my mountains protect me and I pray they do this time too!!

Work early. Then to do laundry. Then to go help lay carpet. I'm actually a fan of manual labor plus I know I can't give much to the church, but I can give my time....
