Just had to share...I received a bolo for approximately forty thousand pounds of pork ribs, which were stolen over the weekend.  When I was giving it out, I had the devil of a time not laughing, especially when my mind drifted to Isaac...lol.
40,000 pounds of pork ribs reminds you of me?  How so?  I'm drawing a blank on this one, but I don't like the possible explanations.
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

And by the way I took that job.  Start a week from next Monday, or two weeks from yesterday.  I'm so glad to be going back!  It was the single best job I ever had and I sure hated it when they had to lay us off.

Still can't believe that after two and a quarter years they just up and out of the blue call me and ask if I want my job back.   :o

First, congrats on the job!  I'm super happy for you!  Will you keep working at Mickey D's as a secondary or will you resign the position?

As to the reason I thought of you, Isaac, it's simple.  You're a man who hearts his food, kiddo.  Food is to you as glitter is to me...lol.

I am activated to pursue His kingdom, not for what it is, but for the absence found within.

Lynx

Uh... I heart very good food.  Havarti cheese, Lindor truffles, all natural peanut butter, homemade sourdough bread, etc.  Pork ribs I can eat if they are there, but not something I'd seek out.

:freaky:  Creepy!  :P

Bo...er...Roscoe, sorry, almost called you Bob.....  :P  Hate to hear that about your friend.

Worked on the shed.  I can almost see light at the end of the tunnel.....almost....

But I keep finding other things that need repaired on every other building around, so there is no end to what I need to do.....  :o

Tended fowl.

Took a drive to hurl dead eggs out the sunroof.

Lynx

Now THAT would be one good upside of keeping birds.  Chunking dead eggs at stuff from the sunroof.

Babs

I may lol just can't from my phone so will take some doing, plus if I do want to be able to follow up with season 2 since most of season 1 ppls aren't here much anymore lol

Wrote something today that is perhaps the hardest thing I have had to write. Its called "I am one of the forgotten ones" which will be small snipets of the lives of people that have in one way or another crossed paths with the church. Then over time the church dropped them, lost interest or what have you. Showing what happens in ppls lives when we give up on a vision, deciding its just not worth the time, effort, cost.

Was a really hard subject to look at.

Obviously you haven't tasted any of the ribs I have made. I would take those over weird cheese and truffles any day!

Congrats on the job.

@5-0 Praying for your friend.

I have had a rough couple of days. Lots going on that I feel I have very little control over. Thankful God controls it all though.

  whatever the code is for that anyways.

Lynx

I can't honestly deny the really good ribs claim, as I don't eat a lot of ribs, so I probably don't know what really good ribs are like.  You'll have to come down and cook up a few someday.

Might as well call me Bob- it's not like I'm hiding here. :biglaugh: The majority of you nuts have my name AND address, so it's not like my name's a secret.

Been praying for you too, Taco. Hope things get better. It's been my experience that it's best to let God control everything anyway, everytime I try to run things they get fouled up so bad even the fowlmeister of Indiana couldn't straighten them out.  :P

I had quite the enjoyable evening. Cooked out, had my brother in law and his wife over- and one of the kids in my youth group came over to discuss an issue he's having and we've been praying about. It still amazes me that someone trusts me enough to come to me for advice and prayer.  :o

Oh, and congrats on the job Isaac. Think I'm all caught up now. :laughhard:

*Psalm_97 enters, stretches, yawns, curls up on his favorite armchair and goes back to sleep.

Morning y'all.  Man, I slept like a rock.  And woke up with the song "There's something going on in the graveyard" running through my head for some odd reason.
