Whoa! Ya'll been quiet since 10:30 pm!?! What's wrong?

Morning, All. Hope you have terrific church this Lord's day. I'm back at work, inching ever so slowly towards my weekend. Supposed to have some storms moving in this evening/ tonight, then beautiful weather for Tuesday and Wednesday. I'll be pleased, since those are my days off. :thumbsup2:

Morning.

I'm glad it's church day, BUT, I sure wish I could sleep some more. Like it would be nice if church started at like 2 today. Just for today.

Oh well. I'll get a nice nap today and maybe a bike ride this afternoon.

Yay!  Just got news that the two girls I pick up with the church bus that live waaaaaay out of town on a long driveway that is full of ruts and pits... are moving back to town.  Good thing, I don't think the church bus could take much more.

In other news, I hate, I hate, I HATE it when I've done a lot of work on a soundtrack, I'm happy with what I've done... and I forget to save it before I quit.  What I hate even more is when the program I'm working in goes POOF and I lose all my progress and it's not even my fault for forgetting to save!  What brings this up?  Last night I did a lot of work and then it went POOF.

Wouldn't happen if you had a real guitar...  Then you'd just be breaking strings. :P

Went to church.  Bill, the guy that came before, was there today.  Came home.

Eating a BBP.

Lynx

It would in fact still happen because even if I were playing a real guitar, it would be recorded in the computer, in the program that went poof.  It would not have happened if I had been playing a real guitar AND been recording it on some hardware-based recorder.  Or if I had not been running that plugin that sometimes crashes... but I needed that plugin's unique sound.  :-/

My alarm clock unplugged itself from the wall. I was 30 minutes late for work. Thankfully I'm NEVER late and my boss called at 815 to make sure I was ok. Sheesh. I HATE being late.

Did some dishes. Ate some Mac & cheese. Waiting for Jessica to get here then we'll be on the way to church. I'm pretty excited she's coming with me. We used to attend another church together.

No thank you, I have two dogs who would eat it.  Also I am not Epic Win, and have no intention of buying a subscription to Direct TV even if I were Epic Win.  ;)

Not if you played the real guitar instead of a soundtrack.  :P

Then what would I do for drums, bass, glockenspiel and trumpet?  I only have two hands, I can't play them all at the same time.  And having other players learn all the songs I want to sing is a bit impractical when I don't have a band and have nobody around here who would be likely to want to start a band.

That was the long version.  This is the short version:  Nah, I'll just keep doing it this way, thanks.

Musicians anymore are becoming so talented that they can't play squat without practicing it for days beforehand.

Lynx

I have to practice it beforehand because I'm not a real musician yet.  I'm still learning.  When I get to the point where I actually know what I'm doing, making a soundtrack like this will take maybe two hours, tops.  Until then... *sigh* there's always quantize and rate shifting.   :-\

Oh good grief!

In other news, we had a great service today!! My cousin is outstanding! I love hearing him preach!

Then I came home and finished the lunch I had started to cook in the crock pot. And then took a nap.

I was just woken up by a phone call, where my friend asked me a question, harassed me for being asleep, and then was done and hung up.

The nerve!

So I'm up now. Gonna go clean the kitchen and I might go for a bike ride.

Didn't do good on my programing assignment this week. Really need some prayer that I will be able to grasp this stuff and pass this class. The only thing he said I did wrong was used the word organize instead of the word list on part of it. That's all he would say was wrong. So I really don't know why it wasn't right.

Going with my mom to the hospital in the morning. She is having an echo-cardiogram done. Please keep her in your prayers and pray this heart murmur is nothing serious.

Praying for ya, Kloey. I lost a close friend who was nearing retirement a couple of years ago. He stopped a stolen vehicle and the driver shot him. Hard to deal with, no doubt. In law enforcement, maybe more so than any other job, coworkers become family really quick. Some of my fellow officers are closer to me than my own blood kin.

Good morning everyone!
If you "got your walk on" in Arkansas this morning, you'd need to be one of those ducks you love so much. I haven't saw it rain this hard in ages!

Morning, all. It's my friday!

Morning y'all, this is my Monday!  :D  Mondays usually seem to go by fastest for me - I've had a weekend to rest and recuperate, I've had a good Sunday at church and I'm rested and reloaded for the week.

It was a slightly muggy 76* here this morning on the beach! Not bad at all.
