So, my latest tehe hehe call had my office in stitches.  The complainant advised that she purchased two Cd's from a "bootlegger" and the Cd's were not the promised Cd's.  When she confronted him in an effort to receive a refund, he refused.  She requested that he be charged with fraud.  Being the goose that I am, I asked her if she seriously wanted our agency to press charges against someone she labeled as a bootlegger.  She said, rather emphatically, "yes!"  People are more than amusing.

So, I drove back to Gainesville for church.  Everyone keeps harping at me for driving over eighty miles one way to church, but I cannot be bothered.  I feel like I need to be there.  My prayer has been that the Lord will reveal to me, without doubt, if it is His will.  I asked the Lord to let me be embraced and I have been.  I have spent so much time being excited about church and praising the Lord that I haven't had an opportunity to dwell on anything negative.

I have, in the past, been so blinded by trials and tribulations that I didn't see that victory was upon me.  It's not supposed to be like that.  If I choose to let all things yucky weigh heavily on my heart, I'll speak more of the same into existence and I'm not having that on my watch.  Bro. Arnold said something tonight which really resonated within me.  He said that a lot of people allow their faith to be dictated by their feelings instead of their knowledge.  It's so easy to slack off, using the excuse of not feeling like praying in the morning or praising Him outwardly, but at the end of the day, we know that God inhabits the praises of His people.  I don't want to let my feelings/inaction prevent me from creating an environment in which His will and presence are made manifest in my life.

Okay.  Pep talk over.

BOB, I have a taser, too.  Let the battle begin!   :freaky2:
I am activated to pursue His kingdom, not for what it is, but for the absence found within.

:o Why don't we just join forces and light up Seth's life? Less painful for you and I, and infinitely more amusing, at least for us. :laughhard:

Morning, all. Ready to start my Monday. Lord, I'm ready for a vacation!  :waving:

Howdy y'all.

Great youth service last night.  For a few minutes I thought the poor visiting preacher wouldn't get to preach.

i'm still technically carless, but my landlady has 'lent' me her spare car. it needs tires, but i've been told just to take it out of my rent. $100 for gas is kinda of ridiculous but what can i really do about that.

Bwahahaha.......

Eating a salad.

Been working on the shed some.....  Man alive.  After every part I finish, I think to myself, the hard part is done.....  And then boy, am I disappointed whenever I start the next step.  lol :-?

Gotta be a Mathematician, architect, and physicist to just figure out how the best way to put the walls together is gonna be.  :reaction:

I made some chicken salad for lunch, and instead of bread, I wrapped a few spoonfools in some lettuce and had a couple lettuce wraps. I also chopped up a cucumber and ate that too. Very tasty.

Topped it off with a can of V8 juice and a little later a bottle of water.

I've got sauce in the crockpot that was previously frozen, gonna boil some noodles and make spegetti later.

Just stopping by en route to somewhere.  Got a freecycle run to do tonight.

Actually that Subway sounds good.  Might get me some Subway myself.  My current favorite is cold cut combo (all turkey based, so some might claim I'm being a cannibal) with that sauce they put on the pizza and meatball subs, plus mayo, mustard, onion (for my breath,) tomato if it doesn't look too pale.

When I was a kid and we went to Subway I would rate subs by how many napkins I needed when eating them.  Some things never change...
