My pastors wife called me like 5 times in the last 24 hrs. She's having some problems learning her 'smart' phone. Lol.

Went to church, and then you'll never guess what after that.... :o

I hate, I hate, I HATE it when my own computer, that I paid my money for, tries to tell me what it thinks is best for me.  AAARGH!

When I installed Linux, any version I ever installed, it was SIMPLE!  Answer seven questions or so, like what time zone do you live in, where do you want this installed, etc.  It installs itself without any more fuss, then asks permission to reboot.  And presto!  You have a full, complete computer operating system, ready to go.

This Windows was already installed when I got the computer, and already I've had to spend more time messing with it than with any sane Linux distro.  And it keeps asking me if I'm sure I want to do what I'm trying to do.

:frustrated: :frustrated: :frustrated: YES I'M SURE!   :pound:

Moral of the story:  Windows stinks most because it keeps trying to tell you what IT wants you to do.

One more day of work...then 9 glorious days off!!

Fighting a headache/migraine ALL afternoon.

Got to meet Chelsea today - the newest 1-day old member of our church! I love her already!

Doing laundry - gonna shower and go to bed here in a bit.

Youth tomorrow night.

My brother's surprise party Saturday.

So busy...

Or to put it another way, I feel like I am not the owner of the computer, using the computer I bought.  I feel like I'm just being allowed to enjoy the Windows experience, and if I actually get some work done that's fine, but not really important.

You went on a date with some hott gal?

Lynx

Jenn sorry to hear about the headache.  But the party... if you just told us, how is it a surprise?

Neither did I.  I was curious what would warrant a  :o after going to church, but I was going to sit back and let the rest of you drag it out of him.

Okay... when I can see my breath it is cold in here.  I didn't notice because I still had my coat on...  Just never thought about it.

Tonight was fun! The boys had a law meeting thing so we got started later than expected. We ate at O'Charley's and my soup was YUM! Chicken Harvest is delicious! Then bowling.. I stink at it! I got beat by all 5 guys both games hahaha. Oh well! I'm proud of myself for being a better sport than I used to be!!

Lynx

Can't be worse than I.  I've never played a single round. Or match.  Or set.  Or whatever you call a bowling game.

Bowling is awesome! We usually play 3 games. My first game is always ok...my second is a LOT better, really good even, and the third is usually the worst. Every time.

I'm actually a pretty good bowler.

No, Sandra, can't say as I am. I never go to the calendar on here. Very rare if I do. Lol

Had a great evening at church. Went early to print some things in the office, and then went to Subway with some friends. I feel much better this evening. Y'all pray I can keep it this time and not get worse again.

Oh and I was persuaded by someone...to buy Reeses peanutbutter eggs in WM. I did. And I really shouldn't have. They are amazing!

Had to put them away cause if not, I might eat the whole bag. :o
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

MelodyB

I meant that I went to Subway AFTER service. It sounds like I skipped service. Lol

I need to start proofreading.

If anyone is currently awake and coherent enough to pray - PLEASE PRAY for safety for those in tsunami warning areas! (My brother just called and will be headed to work soon - on the coastline, as opposed to somewhat higher where their house is.)
