If I can pull this off I deserve a promotion. I looked up the chords online and found fun things like G#sus4, Bm7 and B7sus4. Um... yeah, I might be in a bit over my head here. Oh well, it'll be a learning experience.

Morning all. Mental health services didn't catch me. *grin*
Last night Bro. Greg Godwin preached a powerful message. I think every minister in Oklahoma prayed through. But, after making a glutton of myself on crab (first time to ever eat it) I needed to pray. But anyways, last night I cried a river during the altar call. Sure felt good. We finally got out of service about 11pm!
Bro. Cornwell is teaching.today. Good times!

Stayed with a family I'm friends with the next town ove last night. Gonna stay here most of the day. They converted me to watching college b-ball and I'm not a UK fan. Lol.
Mom went berserk yesterday and decided I can't do laundry over there anymore. Luckily the family I'm visiting are awesome and let me do it here. Dad called me yesterday and he's went 7 days without a cigarette and feels great. Also he apologized for the drinking last week. So we'll see how that goes...
Glad you have a place to do laundry.
Hows the weather there. Its raining here
Well it's 11:00am and I'm finally up. I can adjust to any work shift but it takes some time, so staying up that late is unusual for me. What's more unusual is I wasn't doing anything important, just piddling around.
At any rate, howdy y'all!
went for what was supposed to be a short walk that ended up being a several hour walk lol

Day 6 or somewhere around there is very important in quitting smoking. Somewhere around that time your lungs remember what it's like to breathe normally again. :D Mind you I never have smoked, but that's what I hear.
But do you have any carpet left Barb, or have you chewed it all?

That's precisely why I don't watch scary movies. I haven't had a nightmare in years and years.
I have had to many close encounters with snakes for my taste that's why I think all of them should be treated the same way. Kill them all!
When I was a kid someone told me that Ireland doesn't have any snakes, and I so tried to convince my parents to move there. lol

Our church is very small so it's not a big issue. We always have extras, never know when someone might stop by to eat.

bahaha...nope...although I need the anointing to get it done...arg!
annotated bibliographies are lame...I basically have to find SIX sources on a specific subject, and write paragraphs per source on if the source is in good faith, or if it's a bad source etc. Seriously? Went to church, came home.
Went to the bird fair. Got some feed and supplies...and....couldn't pass up a pair of diamond doves a different color than what I have...Lord help me. lol
Stopped at Rural King for ranch feed and supplies on the way back home.
A girl and a guy came to see the birds and such...she's wanting to get a couple ducklings to raise just for the experience.....So I'm like her bird life coach now... The guy, her BF or husband, didn't inquire as to which, lol, reminded me of Chel. :o He's got their family features in the nose and surrounding areas....
I didn't try to smooch him or anything though....don't worry, it wasn't that bad. :P
Then the neighbor bird guy came and got some chicken eggs to hatch out. And in the mean time I've been cleaning a cage to put the young diamond doves mine raised into out of the aviary, and I'm gonna clean it out kinda, and put the new ones in there with everybody....
Stopped to eat a bite of supper......

Oh well. There are others who used to be the same way, but after a while coming to church they got better. There is hope for the future. And ibuprophen for the present.

So WOW!
Yesterday was amazing! Had awesome church, then went to Barnhills with all my favorite church ppl. Like seriously...pretty much the WHOLE CHURCH was there. We had 17 at our table, and we had three more BIG groups from our church there! It was amazing fellowship! Then I came home very briefly and went back out again to Lucedale, (where I got lost...long story) and finally got Kimber picked up and we went to a church that was having revival with Trisha (Orignal Dingbat and Domer Trisha) amd her husband!! So got to spend an amazing service with them, and hilarious fellowship afterward! Then when I whet to drop Kimber off, she stayed in the truck and we talked for another 3 hours almost! Then I had a 45 min drive home!!
I pulled in at 1:15, and I'm up now. Headed to keep Parker.
Wow. I'm exhausted but insanely happy and content.

:hi: It was a busy weekend. Not at all like it was supposed to be.
Hubby's dad and step mom spent the night Fri & Sat night.
My son and his friend ended up staying Fri & Sat night.
Then my Brother-in-law spent the night Sunday night.
Told hubby he needed to call it Boudreaux's Bed & Breakfast.

The heart of a proud man breaking
The cry of a sinner seeking truth
It's a beautiful sound
When the walls come crashing down
And the chains fall to the ground
Taco, sorry to hear that. If he's anything like my pastor, you wish he'd stay forever.
Mel, glad you had as good a day as I had yesterday. :)

Between my first comment this morning and yours there was a big time difference. Must be a dodgy internet connection on your end. Or maybe you need to reinstall your OS.
Had one doozy of a dream last night...kind that musta been a afterglow of the HG or something....
Dreamed that we were at a parent teacher conference (during the day) and I saw a person I knew, and I commenced to preaching at him, and everyone around. Before it was over, kids were pouring out of the classrooms, and God was filling them with the Holy Ghost. The hallways were packed with kids praying, speaking in tongues, and such like. The teachers tried to restore order for about 2 seconds, but it was to late.
Like to have scared my wife to death when I suddenly came out of bed shouting...she twernt touched by the same spirit that I twer touched with...

One board is partially in place for the chicken breeding pen. And so far I have a new giant blood blister on my left index finger, further debilitating my already limited dexterity due to other cuts, cracks, and hurtful abrasions.
Home again. A whole three hours at work, whoop whoop. My paycheck is going to be small. Oh well, we got done what we needed to get done. And at least the store manager is pretty easy to work with, not always biting peoples heads off.
I have the money and I know what I want. I want a TASCAM 1080 16-in audio interface. For some reason I just want to get it, I think it would be handy. But... no music groups have asked me to record them. Why do I want this thing?
Gonna go pray about it some more and maybe place an order.

Well shoot. I just found out Grandma will NOT be coming home today. Uncle Ray, who is driving so he's kind of integral to the whole trip, had to get a dental appointment for Wednesday. If he misses this one he won't be able to get another for three or four weeks, so he'd better stick around and go while he can.
So I'm still here missing my grammaw.
We won't tell her even if questioned separately. Lol
I'm at girls group right now. We're watching a movie about Esther. It amazes me how little some girls know about the women of the bible. Makes me thankful for my church!!

Found what appeared for all intents and purposes to be FLEAS on my new diamond doves... :reaction:
I looked at them yesterday around their hiney, under wings, on top of head for any signs of mites/lice, and they looked clean.
Happened to shine a light in looking at them tonight when the room was pretty dark, and saw something dark and shiney next to the males eye....got him out and it was a couple of what looked like fleas on him. :yikes: Female had one too.... :dead: Only thing I saw was on their face, near their eyes.... Crazy...aaagggggh...... I hope that nothing got off them onto my other birds in the aviary in the last 24 hours. They're separated out in a little cage now.
/me dies.
I put a dab of Eprinex on them, which is stuff I use on poultry, including pigeons and ringneck doves, so hopefully it won't hurt these guys or anything, but it should kill anything that I might have missed seeing....
Why me..... I'm always paranoid something new will have bugs or something. Bah.
Oh, and now, I itch all over, of course.
And the rest of you will too reading about it. :P
Yeah that's the way I feel about new programs. I'm afraid they'll have bugs. :P
I stayed with version 3.15 of my digital audio workstation for more than a year, when everyone in chat kept talking about the new features of version whatever. They kept talking about bugs too, and I knew what I had worked well for me.
Speaking of bugs, it was the weirdest thing... have you ever heard a computer singing?
See, I got a new laptop recently. That made three laptops total, one running Windows XP, one running Linux Mint and the new computer running Windows 7. The Linux computer was my internet computer, and it was sitting in between the other two.
The first night with this setup, I woke up in the middle of the night hearing music. At first I thought I had left the mouse cursor on an audio file - in Linux Mint the default action is for music to start playing when you hover the cursor over a music file, kind of a preview function - but no, if I had it would have played out long ago. So I got up and investigated. Turns out my Linux computer, sitting there in between two Windows computers, was singing to itself.
"There ain't no bugs on me
There ain't no bugs on me
There may be bugs on the rest of you mugs
But there ain't no bugs on meeeee!" :laughhard:
And there weren't any bugs, to be sure. Linux Mint 10 is rock-solid. :D
Well hallelujah. Boss called me (woke me up he did) and asked me to come in early and work grill. That neatly replaces all the time I usually get on Monday but did not get yesterday.
whelp its official: my entire family has now decided i should be committed lol

someone told me this morning that my oldest son just said to her:
Quotemy mom, bless her heart has gone over the deep end, and i thought she had gone over them all but guess she found a new one
:laughhard:

That's great!
Man I laughed so hard at that one! Thank you Barb. After being awakened by a phone call, I needed that to start my day off right.
And I simply MUST find a way to use that one. :D
hahah yeah i kinda loved it too lol
funny thing is, its his girlfriend/common law wife that told me this. but funny part is, she is wiccan but is excited about my trip lol
she said, dont mind jon, he isnt smart about everything lol
Yeah it's a shame not everybody can be as smart as I am. Why I've had lots of people tell me I'm even smart about Alec, and I don't even know who Alec is! :D
Odd that a wiccan would be excited about it. In my experience wiccans and pentecostals don't get along too well, wiccans avoid pentecostals like the plague.

I was thinking more along the lines of bird flu, but figured with Seth keeping birds he had already heard all the bird flu jokes more times than he could count.
Speaking of which, I thought of you Seth. I found a new source for real (from a local farm, not store bought) chicken eggs. Those things at the store are not real eggs... the shells are so thin and the yolks are so watery I have trouble believing they were not manufactured in some factory.
We have a new dog and I named him Jake.
I didn't do much today. Cleaned the kitchen, did two loads of laundry, made dinner, cleaned the kitchen again, then cleaned the bathroom. Played with Jake.
That's all.
Jake? Oh for heaven's sake.

Factory farm, that is.
What's wrong with Jake? Better than Fido. In my family we always give our pets real names, not stereotypical pet names. We've never had a cat named snowball, marmalade or midnight.
Farm factory is right. They pump those poor chickens up with all kinds of drugs to force their bodies to make more eggs faster. No wonder the shells are so fragile.
We are the same way with our animals. My cat is Topher. My sisters is Emery. My moms are Huxley and Dexter. No offense to anyone if you have one, but 'baby' and 'princess' are not names for pets.
I've had a killer headache all day. And no I don't think it's Bc I was with my mom all day. I think it's time for an eye exam...... Bleh
Bill, that visited church the other night, called while ago and chit chatted for a few minutes. Said he's gonna come on Sunday sometime soon.
My breeding pen now consists of 2 boards, and a post.
lol
That doesn't sound like much, but it's more involved than just that....it's a start. Next step is the beam across the top for that wall, then the corner posts for the opposite wall, and the middle post for it as well. Getting them lined up and square and level with the whole shabang will be the trick....after that much though, getting the rest of it put together shouldn't be as painstaking.... I hope.... :smirk2: Nothing I do is ever simple.

Sounds like the audio setup I had running Sunday night for Children's Revival. It took half an hour just to set up right, but I didn't just want barely functional, I wanted it good and I wanted it right.
And building things is never simple. Just making sure everything is square is a lesson in logistics.
Yes. Jake.
After a Character in a series of books that I love. I wanted to name him Finster like you suggested, but I settled on Jake cause all three of us liked the name and only I liked Finster.

P.S.How long 'til you lock this one, Seth, so I can wave at you from a locked thread?
That reminds me.....
I'm tired. Work. Conference call @ 1:30 with Ryan for his SFC run. Maybe an oil change for my dear car. Then home - hopefully for a nap! Church tonight!
Sorry Jenn, that song doesn't ring any bells. Closest I can come is:
In the presence of the Lord
In the presence of the Lord
That's where you'll find everything that you need
When we seek His face
He'll draw near to us
In the presence of the holy God
In the meantime, howdy y'all. I had to make use of caffeine yesterday (short sleep, long day) and now I feel blah. I hate the day after I use caffeine. Oh well, this too shall pass.
In the meantime, church tonight! :hyper: In a pentecostal church you never know what God will do. I don't see how some people can stand going to a church where it's the same thing every time.
/me just :smirk2: 's at everybody.
Pourquoi?
Good morning, all. So glad to be up and about today..... nothing pressing to do, Lou's off of work and she and Chey are still snoozing. Thinking about cooking breakfast for them. Glad it's church night, we're supposed to have a visiting preacher from Taco's part of the country. I've heard him before, he's an awsome preacher, but for some reason, I drew a blank on his name when I started to post it. Must be getting old, like Taco. :biglaugh:
I just talked to SisMom!! Yay! Yesterday was three whole years since they got married! Today is three years since the first and only time I met Ruby in person, and Friday will be three years since I met the rest of the Domers in person.
Time flies!

Funny you should mention her.... I was bored, reading old threads yesterday, and read a number of her replies. I hate it that she's not posting here, I believe I would've enjoyed both she and Bro. Dad's comments. They both seemed to be pretty wise and understanding.
And I REALLY regret not being here sooner. I would love to have been a DOMER and met some of you nutcases, and OK is close enough I would've made the trip. Oh, well, maybe someone will have another meetup in a nearby area someday.
yeah gp seems to like meetups lol
Howdy! :hi:
Parker is wired today. He was up when I got here, so hopefully he will nap early today. Haha!
I'm eating prunes. So yummy!

Wow.....capital punishment.... :o
Went to the interview and survived.... It actually seemed kind of promising. Both places I worked used the accounting software that they use (and no, Weird Cat, it was not something they downloaded for free, they bought it from Billy G. :P ), so experience in that seemed to be an endearing factor to them.
They asked questions about my work experience and such, rather than the "If your grandma's uncle was on top of Mt. Everest, how would it make you feel if your train to Dallas was 15 minutes late?" kind of weird philosophical stuff about how much you love and hate yourself. lol That was kind of nice. Only problem with that is it's been so long since I left the Nuthouse that I can't remember some of the details on stuff that I could share to make my points sound better. lol
If I get it, I get it, and if I don't, I don't. I'll let the Good Lord figure that part out. There was one I applied to that would be a lot better locationwise, it's on this side of town, closer to me than the one the interview was for, though it's not anything outrageous, so it's doable. But, the easier for me the better. :P
Oh, and if I did work there, it would be the PH - Publishing House....or the AH....Author House, which is one of the brand names of it.... :P
But, we shall see. I'm good either way. This one did seem more promising than a lot of others have though, for what it's worth. :smirk2:
hope it works out seth!
I only hope it does if it's for the best. If it's not, then I hope it does not. lol
Which, I guess that would classify as "working out" anyhow.....

Again, one of the most sane things I've ever seen stated on this forum.
When I was looking for a job that's the way I would pray. And some jobs fell through, and only months later did I find out from others how bad some of them really were. God knows. :)
Bad day. My car got repo-ed even though I had an agreement with the finance company. Thank God I have my landlords extra car with her blessing to drive it. I'm gonna approach her about just buying it from her.
ouch, glad you have something to drive though
Been out and about all day. I is tarred.
Here is the recipe for the Applesauce Coffee Cake someone asked for:
1 14 ounce can of applesauce
1 Egg
1 Tablespoon of Vanilla
Cinnamon as much as you want or as little as you want.
2 Tablespoons of brown sugar
1 Cup of sugar
2 Cups of self rising flour
Topping
1 1/4 stick of margarine
1/2 a cup of brown sugar
1/2 a cup of your favorite chopped nuts
Mix ingredients pour in a 9x13 baking pan. Mix topping ingredients and crumble all over the top of the uncooked cake. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Pour some coffee cut the cake and enjoy.
I hope that makes sense for ya'll. lol
P.S. I used unsweetened applesauce.
Good heavens, non-auto-partsgirl. :o
The people that came and repoed it weren't from that reality show were they? :ugly:

It was very good! Most of my recipes come from me wondering around the kitchen wondering what might taste good together. That recipe started with me just wondering what I could do with applesauce that would taste good. lol
Yeah, that's how it usually starts with me. "Wonder what I can do with this salmon?" Or broccoli, or peaches, or oats, or...
One of my main strengths seems to be in taking bad mistakes and making them, if not gourmet dinners, at least more palatable. I took a batch of grandma's chocolate oatmeal cookies that turned out far too dry and made them into some kind of chocoate/oat brownie stuff. Sometimes I think of myself as a kitchen salvage crew. :D

No I crushed them up in milk and egg and cooked them.

All the family is over for a major family hangout, so I won't be on the forum much tonight. :D Ciao for now, might check in before bedtime.
Went to a webpage and got this LOL
This page does not exist because Hank the Pyro Chimp has set it on fire.
Figured I'd put my two cents in for the night- it's raining and nasty here, and I'm not pleased with it. Today's been a bit of a chore- I decided that, among other things, I drink entirely too much Dr. Pepper and went cold turkey on it today. I also decided I would fast breakfast this morning.
I get to work and find that, for the first time in weeks, someone has brought free donuts. :o I managed to stay strong and was actually considering making it a day long fast, when in comes free BBQ, baked beans, and homemade cinnamon rolls the size of a cat's head.
After much prayerful consideration, I ended my fast at lunch.
I still haven't drank a Dr Pepper today, and for me that's a miracle on par with walking on water.
Could use some prayers. My back that went out last week seems to be getting worse instead of better. Can barely move today.
Been working on some church related websites. Thinking of putting my old personal web ministry site back up. Just considering it right now.
I saw Roscoe and thought we had a new GPer lol
Personally I preferred five-oh. Roscoe was the name of a black lab we used to have.
Well the folks all went to bed at 9pm CST. So I have to either go to bed or stay up and try to be quiet, as I and my rolling office chair are right over their heads.

Don't feel bad, Mel. I'm not a morning person either. I backslid a little on the whole no- Dr. Pepper- thing. There was one calling my name this morning at the convenience store, and it *might* have left with me. My coworkers will be thankful, I'm sure. :laughhard:
I decided I would change my user name in a tip of the hat to Sethers- it seemed to have stuck regardless of my opinion, so I might as well embrace it.

Never did get around to tinkering with my audio interface, because the family all converged on Grandma's house and a family hang-out meeting is not to be missed. Maybe tonight I'll get around to my new toy. Or maybe not.
When I hear other people talking about their families I come to the conclusion that either I have a great family or other people don't appreciate theirs enough. Or maybe both.

Why dont you allow the mothers to sit on their own eggs?
I wondered that myself, but I wasn't curious enough to ask.
Mel did you intend to change your nick to Melsiepoo or did someone hack your account?
I did it. I figured he was naming everyone else, I might as well join, he has given me MANY names over the years, and this is the one I chose for now...when are you gonna change yours to Weird Cat?
And also, Seth...do you or can you eat the "dead or non-living" eggs?
Cats are by definition not weird. Being weird is beneath their dignity. Therefore "weird cat" is an oxymoron.

Why dont you allow the mothers to sit on their own eggs?
1. Because most of the time they don't sit on their own eggs. It's not an automatic thing that just because a bird lays eggs it will sit on them. The biological hormonal mood has to hit them for them to even have any desire to do that whatsoever.
2. Because if everybody that laid eggs, spent a month sitting on eggs....there'd be no more eggs being laid.
3. Logistics. If a bird is going to incubate eggs it ideally needs a place it can be by itself so everybody else won't be trying to lay in its nest, etc. etc. I would need more than a breeding pen for that..... :o
Every once in a while, I do let certain ones that are good setters sit on a clutch of eggs.

lol
There are some places in SE Asia where they do eat those duck embryos and stuff....but unless you're into that, NO thanks... Plus some of them, or many, are just NASTY and not fit for anything.
So what do you do with them? Do you have a special place you throw them away so the other critters can eat them?

My boss is getting married today. His fiance was in Japan when the earthquake hit. They are originally from China. Anyway, she left Japan after the quake and went to China, then came here. They are getting married today, then she has to go back to China and finish up some things and will be back here in a month or two.
How come she just doesn't stay and finish her stuff so she can come back and be home?

Awww Seth, is there no church people to consult? Nathan and Andrew would come help if we lived closer. And Hannah and I would make lemonade and a fun lunch.
My friend has chicks, just a few, and they just built a cute little pen. I want to do this sometime w/ the kids for a project. Then I can sell or cook the chickens. ☺

Well, Park is still asleep. And I slept for over an hour on the couch.
When Brittney gets home tonight, we are going to Beach Park and she wants me to walk with her. She used to do it all the time, and since I started my "Lifestyle change" (NOT diet) about two weeks ago, she wanted to know if I wanted to go this evening with her, and then come over here at *gasp* 5:30am on the days I sit with Park...(Mon, Wed, & Fr) And go walk before Jonathan leaves for work, so he can be in the house with Parker while we are out walking. :o
I agreed, God help me. I dont know why. :o
But, the dear Lord knows I need the exercise!
Also, Im going to TRY to get a new picture for my AV this weekend. I love Livi, but I need a new one of me and my kiddos! ;)

There's a couple guys that go to our church that are very good builders. I don't necessarily feel comfortable asking somebody like that to help me though.
I don't know anybody that just WANTS to help me do anything. :smirk2: Several people from different parts of the country have said if they were here they would help. But nobody here has offered. LOL

Lou was complaining about the amount of time I spend here, half jokingly. Sis. Pickard asked her who I talked to that knew of her. Lou couldn't remember your name, so I got on the phone and told her. I think the general opinion was that you're "a mess". (Said in a sweet loving tone) :laughhard:

He and Sis Tab were just kids when they started coming to our church. They'd just been married, she was 16 or 17 and he was not much older. I got to be preached at by him more than anyone, I believe. They were at our church for, Lord, 15 years or more. I remember holding their son when he was born- now the kid's 6'4' and 280 lbs, and I call him "sir". :laughhard:
lol
Lord. Britt just about killed me! We prolly walked 2 miles! :o then took Parker to the park and let him play. I'm home now and need to clean the kitchen and PACK for my weekend trip but my legs hurt!

Okay... I was playing with my new toy, the audio interface. I didn't have a speaker connected to it so I didn't have to worry about feedback. Tested a microphone on an input, and turned on track monitoring... not so I could monitor it by hearing, but so I could see the wave form.
Then I wanted to hear how it sounded, so I switched from my new toy to the computer's internal soundcard. The soundcard that is connected to a set of Sony Xplod speakers. The soundcard that is also connected to the computer's onboard microphone... Instant feedback loop, instant pain in my ears.
Well I'm awake. :o
Left home this morning at 11 expecting to be gone maybe an hour, and got back about 6:30 tonight. I will never understand the concept of driving 60 miles or more just to eat at a certain restaurant. If you're going to see someone or you have something to do in that area maybe, but just to eat I don't get it.
Been doing homework, and I am fixing to dive into a 50 question final exam for my IT class. Haven't slept in a couple of days I hope my tired brain can figure this out. The good thing is I currently have a good enough grade that I could technically skip the exam and still pass. The perfectionist side of me though wants to ace it. Prayers would be appreciated!
Yawn, sigh..etc.
I get to watch my favorite little girl tomorrow tho! I bought her a new book today so I think we will try looking at that for a few minutes! Love her!

That'll preach Seth! I agree...it's pitiful actually the excuses people can come up with "not" to come to a church function or church itself. :noo:
That's not our problem. Ours is nobody at prayer meetings. I'm thinking about taking attendance the Sunday morning, Sunday night, Wednesday night, and prayer meeting night and posting them all in the bulletin the next Sunday. Uh... maybe I should ask the pastor's permission first. >.>
But if I did, it would be something like 102 Sunday morning, 117 Sunday night, 85 Wednesday night, 7 prayer meeting.
I'll agree with you there too Isaac! Prayer meetings aren't as reverenced as they once were. People are "too busy" with life to stop and just spend some time WITH the body of Christ to pray. "Oh I'll pray at home"....80% of the people who say that won't do it.
This is one of the best books about church prayer meetings that I have ever read....
http://www.amazon.com/Fresh-Wind-Fire-Jim-Cymbala/dp/0310211883
If it's the same Brooklyn Tabernacle's "grammy winning choir" I know of, I can attest they have the anointing in their music that a lot of church choirs miss. They actually feel what they're singing about. Church services I don't know about, never been, but their music is powerful, not just for a show. I wouldn't have 11 albums of theirs if they were just trying to sound good.

I hate seeing these old time pentecostals go. Seems like alot of our heritage leaves with them, and in some areas, I think the whole pentecostal experience is a little more diluted with their passing, if that makes sense.
I am in Panama City! Sitting in the mall parking lot waiting on mom to go get the kids gifts from Sears. Dad has a welder in the back of the truck for my brother, so I can't go in the store cause someone might take it!
Y'all should come to our prayer meetings! We have half the church (literally) at ours! We usually run about 100-110 on Sunday's, and at prayer meeting on Wednesday nights, we have 45-50 people. No joke! It's amazing!

And how, pray tell, do you do that? Nobody ever has time for prayer meeting around here. If you ask anyone you get a long recital of what their day consists of.
Mind you, some people honestly cannot make it. But a lot could.

You aren't 60 miles from either of those places. When I said 60 miles I guess in my exhausted state I forget to say one way. The trip was 66 miles one way. If the total trip was under 60 miles I might understand somewhat, because where I live we literally have no restaurants except Thursday -Sunday. (long story)
@Mini I can get catfish that is pretty good from any number of places around here. SO I definitely wouldn't drive very far for that.
@Roscoe I have always been one who believed if I have to drive a long way, or stand in a line for more than an hour to get in the door then the food just isn't worth it for me. I am sure I can find something better with a lot less hassle. lol
Shoot if I had to stand in line for more than an hour to get in the door it had better be pretty good. I can get some really good food at home without spending gas and getting tired feet - just cook it myself.
