That is sweet Isaac.

This picture doesn't do the sharp stinging wind justice but it's pretty from inside.

Is that your backyard meller? I'm SO JEALOUS!!!!!

No. It's my friend's across town.  But outside of any neighborhood, or along the highway is what it looks like. My backyard has a lovely retaining wall... LOL

kkay

Very pretty.

I like the way snow looks..just hate driving in it.

MelodyB

I've still never seen snow. I'm 32. Lol

Dad is in the barbershop getting his ears lowered. I'm sitting in the truck.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Well come up to Tennessee, where the good life is.  I'll even let you get a snowball and take a free shot at... my brother, yeah.

Um... it's been barely two hours and this bread is rising like crazy.  I've been doing whole wheat for so long, I forgot how fast white bread rises.  It's supposed to take at least three hours.

In the meantime, while waiting for it to rise I stepped out to the mennonite store and stocked up on cheeses.  Amish butter cheese, havarti, some really good colby, muenster, a bit of sharp cheddar for Grandma...

What?  No, we all hate cheese.  Nasty stuff, can't stand it.  :P

Isaac, do you buy gouda cheese?  Do you buy your cheeses as from cow's milk or goat's?  I'm doing a new recipe that calls for gouda and Costco has both cow's and goat's and I don't know which I should choose.

Also, have you ever made a lamb roast?  Or do you ever marinade your meat in yogurt?  It's more a middle eastern thing but it's the same concept of buttermilk I think.

SippinTea

Gouda is a favorite of mine. :bigcheese: Anything goat cheese is a lot stronger tasting. I love it. Chris - not so much. *shrug*

Melody

Do you like goat yogurt too, Ruby?   Cheese is something awesome.  I'm glad I'm not lactose intolerant!  lol

Lynx

They had gouda there, but I didn't get it.  I spent far too much as it is.

Oh my lots to do. Sometimes I just have to sit a second and breathe though.

We're off to see "Christmas in the Park" which is an elaborate Christmas light display you drive around look at.

Lynx

Although not as nutritious as whole wheat, white is certainly gratifying to make.  It just keeps rising and rising.

I ain't eating it though.

Obviously, the lobbyists know who the power behind the politicians is... :hypocrite: . So far my haul for the season from the assorted nutcases that try to buy votes is three of the tastyest fried pies ever cooked, from a small Amish bakery in Souther Arkansas, a $25 Cracker Barrel Gift Card, and a large Arkansas made summer sausage.....Not bad.  :P

Went to work, came home, went to church, came home.  It's snowing.

And Wal-Mart is full of the stupidest people on earth.

Roscoe, I hope to goodness that Lou's store is not filled with the kind of idiots we have here.  I HATE dealing with them.  I hate dealing with the management there, they are all totally worthless.
