I'm dealing with some changes I've made in my life, but also wonder how much of my life I have wasted.

Just don't waste more time worrying about it.  Today is a new day.   :thumbsup2:

Another lovely day.  I enjoyed that speech that's all abuzz.  "You're not special" graduation speech.

Does anyone know what's comparable to bananas?  There is this smoothie that is awesome but it calls for bananas & Nathan hates that flavor. Something that could cream & mask the fresh spinach flavor?  Idk

Home from work. Met a guy this week who reminded me a lot of Yooper, they even had the same first name. While I enjoyed meeting and getting to know this guy it did make me miss my friend. He was a trainer and goes home tomorrow.

Tired but going to go out and take my wife somewhere if she ever gets home. I get to sleep in till 7 tomorrow so we are going to live it up.

I have had a fun day.

Went to Jackson to see a guy about a laptop, which I bought.  Then I spent the next few hours wandering around looking through thrift stores and yard sales.  Got some music, some books... and an alarm clock, because my big grinning Garfield head alarm clock that I bought 18 years ago for $5 at an auction finally gave out.

Now to try out those caramels of Fuzzy's.

I just made those caramels.  They are cooling now.  The bit I tasted off the spatula was yummy.

Posting from my phone sometimes doesn't let me edit and usually I figure you all will have grace and know what I'm talking about.  However, sometimes I go back and look and good grief, I'm not sure I'd know what I was talking about.. lol

Gotta try and figure out how to till up ground without a tiller.  I want to plant some flowers in what is now a dandelion and other undesirable plants, garden.

Fuzzy:  The bit I tasted off my spoon was yummy, but I think I used too much heavy cream.  It's thinner than sweetened condensed milk in the first place, and I thoughtlessly used a half pint carton instead of a half cup.  I cooked it a bit longer though.

Interestingly, after a certain amount of cooking it stopped boiling.  Just sat there until I stirred it, at which point it started boiling again.  Weird.

I have had a GREAT day.

My wife finally made it home from sunday school camp last night about 11 pm.  I got her up about 7:45 am, because we had to go get a free couch and recliner from her sister, who is moving.  We did that, and when we got over there, my brother in law had a couple guns (a old WWII rifle, and a single shot shotgun).  After a bit, I made a deal for both of them, for $10!!!  I also got a Fender Guitar Amp for $50, priced $250 on ebay, a small practice amp for $1, a framed print of a Submarine Spitfire, and a plethora of other stuff all for free.

Its been a good day.

You got a Fender for HOW MUCH?!!

In other news, minnesota did you know you can pipe your guitar through a computer and apply effects?  Flanger, phaser, compressor, all kinds of distortion, exciter, whatever you want.  And it's all free!  Let me know if you want to try it.

I had a great day today!!

I was kinda upset yesterday at how my brother acted on the phone to me. He was short with me, for no reason, and cut me off an hung up too quickly. Very unusual for him. I had already had a hunch something was up, and that made me question it even more. Then today, I was at church, and my friend Granny was short with me for no reason and would not let me in the apartment. I got upset cause I needed to change the A/C filters and the air fresheners in the apartment and could not understand why it was such a big deal about me going in there. I always go in there. Then I flat out asked her a few questions, about my brother and if he was here, getting more upset by the second at her additude about it, and she claimed that she didn't know where my brother was...but I KNEW he was here. Why else wouldn't she let me in there!?

And then while we were at youth, my brother and his family walked in. They had been here, staying in the apartment, since last night. They had already been to the hospital to see our dad, and then went to youth to see me! Yay!

And Olivia is jealous when I have other kids around me...found that out tonight. Lol!

Tomorrow is gonna be a good day too! Yay!
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Went to church came home.....

Some guy called and left a message at church this morning with an "I need gas money..." sob story.  Then he called the house after I was home from church....  I didn't want to, but I talked to him....  I don't know if he's a bold faced liar or if it's true, you never know with these kind of people.  It's always such a quandry...I HATE that..ugh.

I told him I'd meet him at the gas station and get him gas though, so just went and did that.  I grilled him, he had a story, I don't know if it was true or not.

They may have drove off laughing all the way to the crack house, but if they did, that'll be God's business to deal with in His own due season.  *shrug*

But at least with just buying gas, you know they got gas and didn't just take cash and blow it on whatever junk.  *shrug*

I know.  I hate that.  I wish there was a flashing sign on their head or something to tell you if they were lying.

It would have been nice if God had created our noses like Pinocchio...but then we all may have been in trouble a time or two. Haha!

Great day today! Im at the hospital, on the computer. We had a nice lunch with my brother and his family here in the hospital Cafeteria with Dad. Now they are gone and we are chillin here in the room. Dad is snoring.

There's a guy who calls me every so often. He used to be in church. A sister of his is super-solid in church, very nice, sold out to God, single and super-attractive. He knows I ike her.

When he calls for prayer or a ride to church, he winds up needing something else, either from me or someone in the church. He does get a little worried when things get bad for him, then stays away from church or church people til his next crisis. I've honestly gotten to where I hate answering my phone when he calls.

He calls me a coupe of weeks ago, asking for a rde to church. I say yes, then he also wants to borrow a bit of money "til Thursday' or somesuch. Wasn't much, but money wasn't growing on trees for me, especially that week. Says he wants to get a birthday card for the sister I like and respect, and get it off to her.

I tell him yes, I'll bring it over to him. I then got stuvk on some work, and told him I wouldn't be able to. He seems to get desperate, even telling me he has a ride to come over and get the money from me. Her has No ride for church, but what is almost surely a lie, to be desperate to get money so that he can buy and mail something small to someone in another state instead of waiting a couple more days, but he has a ride to come over and get money for that .

I finally told him no, and bye. He called once after that, but I genuinely missed it. I learned recently he has a drug problem.

I hate saying no, but that small amount might have scored him a hit, or bought him some booze. His sister probably wouldn't have gotten anything from hm anyway. Aggravates me he tried to use that as an excuse.

That's another thing that frustrates me.  Money isn't growing on trees for us, hubby is still out of work, so when we help someone I want it to be the real deal.  I'm not giving up something for someone to buy beer or cigarettes if I can help it.
