At the library!  Hannah is a readaholic...lol

We didn't have TV growing up; still don't but...we'd go to the library as kids and come home with 10-15 books a piece between my brother and I. We'd check out as many as they'd let us! lol so I love to read still...unless it's a textbook....*snore*

My head is killing me tonight.

We went to a McDonald's after church and was shocked by what we saw. I thought I had walked into some fancy resort or high end restaurant. In the middle of McDonald's were several granite topped end tables, big comfy chairs, and a huge working fireplace. It was the fanciest fast food place I have ever seen.

We have a really fancy McD too - well one of them....they are like everywhere here....but it's really fancy inside...not AS fancy as those chairs in yours but haha...and this one has a playground too...lol I guess fancy for the parents to not feel as though they're at Mcd, and fun for the kids.

I finally slept thru the night! I was a little worried after Tuesday night's ridiculousness! I did dream about a rabid dog and loose cattle, but oh well... Haha!

Today at lunch, I'm going to go pick up my hubby's wedding band! I'm so excited! Haha.. I leave tomorrow afternoon for Illinois! I can't wait! All the stress aside, it feels like home up there and I miss him and all of them when I leave. :) I can't wait to snuggle my nephew and play with our cousin Mackenzie! Oh, and eat cheesecake cupcakes that Jen is making for me. Those are amaaaazinnnng and I'm not much on cheesecake! Haha!

Were the cattle after you?  When I dream about cows they're usually always after me. :P

Tended fowl.  Eating cream cheese & tomato omelette and bacon and toast and then going to go clean some more on that house.

Gotta organize our file cabinet today.  I'm in desperate need of a tan.

Wonder how long before someone starts a new SHARING thread preemptively...  Much longer and it will no longer be preemptive.

How desperate can a need for a tan be?  Are you vitamin D deficient?

I am afraid of the pizza delivery job...I'm afraid I'll be mugged and killed.  :smirk2:

Granted, it's in Bedford, which is not known for thuggy gangsters per se, though I'm sure there are stupid wanna be ignorant kids as such....  And there's not really any "bad sides of town" so to speak....just areas that are more redneck and/or white trash than others. lol

Would anybody else be terrified to be a pizza delivery person?

Just carry a gun..... or given the issues you have with your birds, an attack turkey. :P

Unless I walked around with a gun drawn, I'd probably get shot and killed before I had a chance to pull my weapon if I had one. lol

I am serious though about being apprehensive about it.... :freaky:

But I would also be scared to work in a bank.  Or a convenience store.

And for that matter in the general public.

Or in the private...you never know when a psychopath is going to come to the Ranch to "buy birds."

:yikes:

Guess I've been conditioned against being worried and scared by my job. There's times I've felt fear going into situations, but I've dealt with so many, it's old hat. That being said- I was going into situations with a gun, 45 rounds of ammo to get me back to my car, where the 12 gauge awaited me, with a radio to yell for help.. Not exactly throwing a hot pizza at my attackers.  :laughhard: I can see why someone would be apprehensive. I carry a gun even when I'm off duty, so I'm not too concerned, myself.

It depends on whether you hold onto the pizza and refuse to relinquish it until they pay you.  Some people get impatient when there's pizza involved.

Make some brittle.  Especially if it's pecans we're talking about.  I love me some pecan brittle.  :D
