I am also anti flu shot. I have had the flu like 2 or 3x in my life I think. Haven't had it for years. Seems all the people that get the shot, get the flu.

Glad im not the only one.  People thought I was crazy cause I didnt take a flu shot this year...then again, I aint ever taken one.

I'm with y'all.  I don't take them either.

Nelle

I have only had the flu once and I've only gotten the flu shot once, but there is no correlatiOn between the two in my case.

Just a few more hours :)

Melodya....that's because the flu shot IS the flu virus. lol Another reason I'm anti-flu shot!

Yes their reasoning is that it's to help your body become "immune" to the virus...but still....the logic is somewhat off in my opinion haha...

As far as I am aware, I have never had the flu.  Either in early years that I didn't take flu shots, or in all the several recent years that I have took a shot.

PET PEEVE:  Everybody calls everything "the flu."  Every virus that makes you sick is NOT "the flu."

It's not live virus though.  Used to all be live virus shots, and then there were certain kinds that were and the others weren't.....don't know if they still use the live for anything now or not.  The main thing they use is not though.

exactly Jenn. I've never had the shot. Plus I don't have to worry about the crazy chemicals they put in with it that are toxic. But the medicine world's only cares about what cause immedate issues untill the long term effects overwhelm them.

MelodyB

 :pound: Jenn for good measure.

Hello all. I'm at the Toehays house. Got the turkey in the oven, and Lauren, Livi and I are just chillin watching Jonah.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

I can't get a flu shot. Once upon a time I was allergic to eggs.  Sometimes I still have the reaction if I eat lots and lots of just eggs. So since they feed the not live virus egg yolks..it could kill me. I'd rather not die. :)
I'm just me, round and bubbly like a lil honey bee!

Good morning, all. I feel much better today and I get two days with my baby girl! Her school is out today, so she gets to spend today and tomorrow with me. We're leaving for town in Rusty now. Everyone have a terrific day!

I'm eating eggs right now, so maybe that'll give my not live flu virus something to eat.  :P

Gonna go to the church and power wash again.....nothing do me, I'm going to finish washing the rest of the building...I'm too OCD to leave part of it undone.

Party!

I wish I were a genious so I could rattle off all the info there is to debunk stupidity & prove how true God & the Bible are.  I love learning! I love critical thinking. I welcome being corrected when I can replace it with truth.

too bad i'm so far from it.

Lynx

You cannot prove the Bible to some people.  They will believe what they want to believe.  Humans have a marvelous ability to select the evidence that supports their belief and disregard the rest.  That's how so many people become conspiracy theorists.

In fact there is still a flat earth society.  They maintain the earth is flat, "ether" does still exist and the government has covered it up with fake science for reasons of profit.

How does mad crochet?

I don't do flu shots, I just take some zinc if I've been around a sick person.  Usually in the form of a cold-eeze.
