We ate at the lodge with his family for Sunday dinner after church. The two of us then climbed the stairs to the observation deck of the water tower there. Lots of stairs. Lots. He got me to "look over there" somehow haha. When I turned back around, he was on one knee holding my ring in his hand..asked me, I said yes, and we hugged! then we kept it silent for two hours so I could tell my parents before someone else did! Haha.. We haven't picked a date yet tho.

And now Topher is looking around for Hoban. He keeps followin me everywhere. I did call and check on Hoban. They said he did great and he's all cute with his nubs. Lol (the compression bandages on his front paws).

I was gonna clean my house today but I felt hanging out with dad was more important. So now to do what I can and await a call from APB that he's home safe.

Both. Haha.. I knew it was coming sometime cause I knew he had asked for my dad's blessing. I did not expect it to be this weekend since he waited until a few hours before I left to go home, haha! I was suspicious when he wanted to go to the tower but I shrugged it off cause he IS kinda adventurous. I was pretty sure tho when he told me to "look over there" and there wasn't much to really look at haha.

Was doing some work on the inclosed non-a/c back porch which today feels about 30* warmer than the outside temp. Got to hot and almost hit the floor. Felt fine right up until the minute I didn't. Folks be careful in this heat!!!

APB is back!! He wasn't sure if he'd make it over to see me then next thing I knew he was knocking on my door We went to eat and he told me about everything from his trip with his family. I'm just glad he's home....
