MORNING!!! had my walk...Park is still asleep. When I cool off and my heart rate calms down, I'm gonna take a nap!
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

And to ressurect an old thought- Mel, the truck was unlocked because I'm an idiot. I mistakenly thought no one would be brazen enough to get in a vehicle that was parked in the governor's parking spot. I was wrong.

I'm a very hateful grumpy mad angry person.  :smirk2:
Me too..... no electricity this morning thanks to the storms, only one candle in the house and the flash light was dead. I get dressed by cell phone light  :o and leave to discover that I'm totally and completely flooded in my usual route. That means another 20 miles or so of driving. then Lou calls and informs me that the Cadillac won't start, so she's taking the Miata, which I had left at home because it doesn't drive well in the rain. I then proceeded to worry until she called and told me she had made it in.

Oh, and we're supposed to get even more rain today and tonight. Joy,joy.

BUT...... God is still good, I still have a home, a job, and my loved ones. So thank you Lord for that.

It's raining.........and raining.....  Our basement floor is wet still/again the ground is so saturated....

I need a house on stilts.

Going to the church to clean in a minute.

Melody

It was in the 30's this morning. Finally in the 40's now.  We are having a looooong spring.

Going to make some zuccinni brownies today.  Can't wait to go to the farmer's market this weekend!  There should be lots of berries to buy. I planted some things but the abundant cat population around here keeps using my flower bed for a litter box, scratchfest. I'm not sure if anything is going to grow now. Tomatoes, basil, onion, carrots, and a sunflower for Hannah.  I hate cats. I'm glad Asians eat them.

Good morning!

Howdy y'all.  Thank you God for a good night's sleep.

five-oh, are you saying you only worried because your wife was driving the miata?

It's been between the 40-50's since yesterday.

It's been pouring rain since about 9pm last night...and it hasn't let up yet....goodness!

We sure did need rain, but it's not stopping! lol

What?!? You guys are having summer already? *sigh* With all the insanity right now, all I can think of is how badly I want a quiet and WARM summer afternoon by a mountain stream with absolutely NOTHING to do.

Winter has overstayed its welcome - even by the Ice Maiden.

BOL Seth!

I'm sure there are people who feel that way about dogs too, and rats...   Really, I wonder if Asia has as bad of a pest problem in general?

DO IT!!! I missed the last show, I wanna see this one!

And Ruby...you should come here. Its 81* here right now, supposed to get 84* for the high. And the sun is out and the sky is an amazing clear blue. It's humid, but you get used to the idea of taking a hot sticky shower outside when you still have your clothes on. :hypocrite:

Where does Chey go on the days y'all both work?
She stays with a sweet little lady that goes to our church. Sis Maria has been a TREMENDOUS blessing to us. Her rates are very affordable, and more importantly, I know Chey is being babysat in a home where the folks believe the same as I do.

No, actually, I was worried because the Miata's driving characteristics in the rain. Couple that with the fact she's not used to it, rarely drives a stick shift, and her, ahem, driving mannerisms, and I've the right to worry. :biglaugh:

We went and cleaned at church, set up for fellowship meeting Friday.

The lake has now went over our road.

All that water makes me want to go fishing...I may try to hunt some worms and go down there and see if there's any fish up in there later. lol
