You hate red velvet?!  That's horrible.

Can we unfriend JennJenn on GP?  :-?

:P

Jason, I don't eat sugar.  It would kill me.

myhaloisintheshop

Why will sugar kill you?

Im diabetic and I eat sugar---I just eat it in small doses.   :fork:

MsJennJenn

Yea I do - it's chocolate...I don't like chocolate cake, or all chocolate desserts...or brownies...bleck!

Red velvet cake is not chocolate!  It has a very small amount of cocoa in it, but it is NOT chocolate cake.

That's it! Jenn, you are dead to me. Anyone who doesn't like chocolate has got to be a Communist or worse.  :biglaugh:

MsJennJenn

Actually it is....lol

A Red velvet cake is a cake with a dark red, bright red or red-brown color. It is usually prepared as a layer cake with either a vanilla or chocolate flavor, topped with a creamy white icing.

Are you sure you are Americian? Or even an earthling for that matter? Wow.

SMH.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

The person who wrote that wiki article was obviously not a southern baker.  A REAL red velvet cake is not a chocolate or vanilla cake with food coloring.  It's much better.

You don't like chocolate desserts, you don't like cheesecake, but you like tiramisu?  How does that fit?  And where do you find the cheese for tiramisu?

Banana pudding I could eat half my weight in, but only if it is made with homemade pudding.  Banana slices and vanilla wafers in instant vanilla pudding is not real banana pudding.  >.>

I dunno lol - tiramisu is different...lol

I actually pick the bananas out on banana pudding....and I don't like it made with the "cook" pudding...it has to be the the other kind....but you make the instant pudding, and then add in whipped cream to make it creamier....

That tears it.  She doesn't like chocolate anything, she won't tell where she gets the specialty cheese for tiramisu and she prefers INSTANT pudding over homemade.

*GASP* No cheesecake, either? Definately on my "unfriend " list now.... and I'm starting an investigation on your status as an American. :laughhard:

And I find it no surprise you like "fruity" desserts. Fruits and nuts go well together, and you're obviously nuts. :laughhard:

Most women seem to think they're "cute". And I must admit, with the headlights up, my miata looks like it's smiling in a cartoony way.

The '64-'66 Mustangs had the same reputation for the most part. They were looked at as "seceretary cars".

If you put it that way, Ms. Soapbox-- Maybe I need to reconsider "american desserts", since I get no government funding.  :laughhard: Let's see........ The Swiss are known for chocoolate, so chocolate will now be known as a Swiss Dessert.
And the best cheescake I've ever ate was in a little Italian resturaunt, so cheesecake is now Italian. Any other desserts that I need to reclassify so I can enjoy 'em? :laughhard:
