I second that

Sis

Still liking it warm. I don't have to move in it, so it's ok with me. *Remembering we moved in here on the hottest day of the year*

The Purple Fuzzy

News site says it's 97 but should feel like 109 here.

Heather

i'm sitting in a metal box in middle of a large thunderstorm. hooray. [please note sarcasm.]

You may have a new hairstyle by evening. ;)

The Purple Fuzzy

It's supposed to be 76 here tomorrow.  You wouldn't know it's almost Christmas by the weather.

Tricia Lea

It was actually warm enough here to sleep with the window open last night, but brrrr not tonight

The Purple Fuzzy

It was 27 this morning but got in the 50s today.

Tricia Lea

Well they are saying snow again Monday here

Lynx

Snow... I think God has a little problem with that one.  Sister White is praying for NO snow (please note the irony of a lady surnamed White praying against snow) and I'm praying for MO snow.  Problem is (from my side) that when Sister White prays for something she gets it.  It is reported that state health requirements were changed when she prayed because she hates getting a shot.

Well... I like to drive on it.  It's easy if you stay slow enough, and it's fun.  And most of the people around here get scared and stay home, so traffic is nonexistent.
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

Sis. White sounds kinda like my mother, my pastor's wife, and another lady in my church. I always make sure we're on the same side of an issue before I pray about it, 'cause I know whose side God will take if there's an opposing veiw. :laughhard:

They are saying we may get some snow on Sunday.  Crazy, since it's gonna be in the upper 30s.  Guess it won't be sticking.

We're supposed to get it Sunday and Monday. Forecast is for 2 to 6", depending on location. I don't mind the snow, as long as it happens when I'm at home, so if I'm snowed in, I can relax. I just don't want to be snowed in at the Capitol..... I've gotten too old to sleep on the carpet. :biglaugh:

Well, you might want to put a sleeping bag and air mattress in your vehicle. ;)

PF, I drive a MIATA! There's no room for anything more than me in it, and I just barely fit! :laughhard:

Svow here Monday and Tueday, possibly 6 inched or more, but now they are adding that will be topped with ICE, uggh. I love the snow but can do without the ice

Lynx

Gimme gimme gimme, ship all that ice over here!

You can keep it! They're saying 2 to 4 inches here, no mention of ice. I think I'm gonna steal my best friend/brother's Jeep Wrangler, just in case. Miata would probably be better served sitting in my shop, protected from the nasty white stuff.

I am thankful though- this'll make the first year and first "winter weather" event that I haven't had to work the street during. Ice is a street patrol officer's worst nightmare. Everybody wants to prove they can drive in it and generally prove the opposite, leaving us wreck after wreck to work.
