love the get well cards idea, but i live with thi who is OCD about keeping things perfectly in place.
maybe if he thought i was sick HE would clean?   hhhhmmm . . . i could try that.

now.  where is the mantle?  i don't think i've seen on here, but it's hard to tell with all these books . . . .

*grins at Kris* You'd be hard pressed to find anything at all in my room right now. This book thing is my one major addiction--much worse than tea. I've got 3 1/2 bookcases in my tiny bedroom, books stacked on shelves in my closet, books in boxes, books in stacks on the floor (yes, really).... Aaargh. I'd get rid of them, except, well... I can't. You can't just get rid of friends.

Do NOT marry another book lover. You'll have more than you do now. I did! When I insisted we needed to cut back he almost cried.  :laughhard:

I've been doing the looking for stuff as long as I can remember, and it's not getting any better.

If that means old age, I've been old since I was in sixth grade.  :laughhard:
I gave up looking because I forgot what it was I lost.

I'm not 50--I'm 18 with 32 years' experience.

Goodbye tension. Hello pension.

Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.

The best way to forget all your problems is to wear tight shoes.

Brain cells come and brain cells go, but fat cells live forever.

Age doesn't always bring wisdom. Sometimes age comes alone.

Life not only begins at 40, it begins to show.

Just when I was getting used to yesterday, along comes today.

I look in the mirror and there is this old person staring back at me.

lol

More like CREAKING up, for real, though.

Last night I got up from the couch and couldn't stand up straight right away.  I felt positively OLD with a capital O capital L capital D!

:sadbounce:

BeccaBoo

I worked out at the daycare today just cleaning the yard and picking up LARGE and HEAVY rocks.

Now when I sit down for awhile and I try to get up, I have to take awhile because I am so stoved up every bone in my body has to take time to creak themselves back straight.

When did my wild oats turn to prunes and all-bran?

Funny, I don't remember being absent-minded.

Ever stop to think and forget to start again?

I get enough exercise just pushing my luck and jumping to conclusions.

I'm not a complete idiot. Some parts are missing.

It's hard to make a comeback when you haven't been anywhere.
