I use Excel spreadsheets all the time, but so far have only scratched the surface of what the capabilities are. I'm currently reading portions of Excel 2002 for Dummies (how fitting! *grin*), but I've got a couple questions I haven't seen addressed yet. If any other Excel users have time to help a rather computer illiterate Oregonian, I'd appreciate it.

Problem One: I need to enter a date in one cell, and have Excel automatically enter dates in other cells based on what I type in the first cell. I'm sure this is related to a formula somehow, but since it's tied to a calender (and not just math) I haven't figured it out yet.

Problem Two: I need to transfer data from about twenty worksheets into one new spreadsheet to consolidate data from music lessons last year. Is there a simple way to do this? Or should I just plan on copying and pasting from each individual page?

I thought you said Chel helped you with a FF issue? LOL
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

SippinTea

Jake... I only said I was reading that book. The library didn't have the one I wanted, and this one is (mostly) helpful. LOL

Mel...Did my misconstrument* of fact confuse you? Yay me. :P

*Is misconstrument a word? If not.... it is now!

No, but I know for sure you said FF, not excel, not that it matters, I was just sayin.

*giggle* Go read your IMs again.

I said, "YOU don't use FF". That fact had nothing to do with the subject at hand, I was merely making trouble.  :hypocrite:

Soooo... back to the subject at hand.... LOL   What book(s) would you computer geeks recommend I check out?
