I met my spouse in a most unlikely place

Oh my!

Yes. It's her fault. The day he asked me to marry him, I was driving back to Tricia's house and he and I were talking on the phone about how I was perfectly happy with my life the way it was before we met and how he had come to a point of being satisfied being single then Tricia went and messed it all up.  We like to give her a hard time and tease each other about how "it's Tricia's fault". :laughhard:

While we both were content with our singleness, God had a better plan in mind and used Tricia to bring it all about. Thank you Jesus for not leaving us where we were, and thank you Tricia for allowing yourself to be used to bring us together. My life has already changed for the better and I now live in excitement and anticipation, waiting to see God's purpose for bringing us together fulfilled.

:o Imagine those two a few years younger and that looks like a picture of your son and daughter. No kidding, when I was scrolling down and saw the pics before I read what you wrote, I was a bit confused and thought they were your son and daughter and couldn't figure out why they looked so much older than the last pics you posted of them.  :laughhard:

So how did the two of you meet MY?

AHA!  I KNEW you were holding out on us!  Where is he?  Has he been hanging out with my husband?!

Melody

ok, I put them together.. I wish mine hadn't gotten that weird coloring on it...

I called my mom.  I have always thought we met at 8 years old when we moved and started going to church with Nathan's family.  But she said it was actually 6 cause we drove to church for a couple of years.  I remember better now cause they had a different building then.  So I guess we met at 6.  I asked my mom to send me the pictures of one of the Christmas programs that we were in that young.

so that's how we met.  My step-dad was friends with Nathan's parents (he performed the wedding) so when my mom married him, it was instant friends.  My mom confirmed, Nathan and I NEVER liked eachother at the same time, always opposite times until we were 16.  It's amazing, although we were backslidden, although we lived SO far apart, God still led us together.  We have talked that even if we had went off to college and years went by, we really think that upon reunion, we would have still ended up together.  It's a very odd thought.  All I know is that God is good, He was merciful to me even when I didn't acknowledge Him.
