Hey Chel! You ever had a peanut butter and pickle sandwich? And if not, do you suppose when we go shopping for peanut butter we can shop for pickles, too?

Do you really like that Ruby? That is NASTY...I had one once and I chewed the first bite and spit it out.

(of course I am speaking of a LITURAL peanutbutter and pickle sandwich, not sure if you are or not. ;) )

I love the work... I hate the fact that it makes communication with the day-shifters hard... really hard.
  :attackhug: Be full of hugs!

MelodyB

UGH! I know that feeling!

Always feel like you are missing things. Feeling guilty to sleep in the daytime, like you are being cheated. Feel like your friends and family are busy enjoying life without you.

I totally relate.

Or sad because you get phone calls at work, that you cant answer... and you really want to, and so you answer anyways and tell them you will call them back in a bit when you get lunch... (which is SUPPOSED to be in 30 min) but then the whole unit goes crazy, you end up having to restrain a patient because he is throwing glass and breaking stuff, and yeah... you dont get lunch till 3 in the morning, by which time they are already in bed alseep... and wont be able to answer the phone.

yup, thats when working nights stinks.
  :attackhug: Be full of hugs!

MelodyB

Yeah...that too. Or when you are really lonely and need someone to talk to, and everyone is asleep except for a few people that you bug too much as it is. ;)
