Except for the Pastor and his wife I'm the only adult in our church under 55, and now I'm the only single adult. So I really don't have any close friends in church either. I would say boredom is way easier to cure then loneliness. You can always find something to do, the problem is finding someone to do it with.

My brother lives close but lately he doesn't hang out with me much because I don't like some of the stuff he's into right now. I really miss having friends that live close by.

Me too!!! Getting to hang out with you that is - as we read here I'm bored with hanging out with just me LOL

I'm not sure if it gets more scary!  :o  I know me and I've met her so this time I'm prepared... but you buddy? oh dear you don't know what you've signed up for.

But don't worry, even though they aren't gpers, you'll have some guys to escape with and hang out with too.... all.. uh... 9 of them   :teeth:

Not a lot, Jonathan.  The endangered species have laws to protect them.  UPCI single guys are always in season.  Look out!

since i now have some room at my new house about once a week someone is over for food and/or movie night. [granted most of these someones are my gay friends. i know they are not hitting on me and guys are easier to get along with] also the best thing i've done to cure loneliness is get my dog. he keeps me company, makes me get out and exercise, and makes me clean my house....alot. [is it illegal to shave a dog?]

I think they call it grooming. Puppy parlors charge an arm and a leg for that. They shave poodles, except for around their ankles and their heads and ears. So I guess it's not illegal. :rofl:

being a truck driver i am alone alot. but really, I am never alone. i have me, myself and I. sometimes I get carried away and have to send me to find myself. :roll:
